- Bakkiespomp - An old restored working waterwheel in the centre of the village which pumps water from the Gariep River to farms in the area. Located on the main street.
- Dutch Reformed Church - Built in 1889 and declared a national monument
- Hunting - Tierberg Nature Reserve - Approximately 160 hectares which lies 4 km west of Keimoes. Abundant in aloes and succulents and home to enormous herds of springbok.
- Wine Tasting and Tours - Visit the Orange River Wine Cellars for tours and wine tasting
- World War 1 War Memorial - The battle of Kakamas took place in 1915 and consisted of 3 skirmishes between German and Allied Forces. A memorial marks the location of the battle.
