We offer immaculate facilities surrounded by a beautiful English garden boasting over 120 rose bushes. The rooms are vibrantly furnished and individually decorated offering a personal touch to make your stay special. All rooms offer a private entrance and a patio area. Secure on site parking is available. Individual barbecue facilities can be arranged. Internet facilities are available.

Area Info:

A short drive will take you to the Airport (6km), University (9km), Golf courses and sports stadiums. We are well positioned for the Ironman Triathlon and all major local and international sport events.

Attractions:

Just a 30 minute drive from On The Bay, you will find our world famous Malaria-free Addo Elephant National Park and Schotia Safaris. Sunday’s River Adventures is situated alongside the Addo entrance and offers a large range of water sport and Sandboarding at the Alexandria Dunefields, the largest dune fields in the Southern Hemisphere. We are also ideally situated for day trips to Jeffreys Bay, Cape St Francis, Tsitsikamma National Park and Storms River, Port Alfred, Kenton-on-Sea, Plettenberg Bay and Knysna. We are more than happy to advise and arrange safaris, sea trips, scuba diving or any outdoor adventures.

Directions:

From the N2: Follow the ‘Settlers Way’ (M4) to ‘City’ to ‘Summerstrand’ signs. Stay on the M4 all the way to the beachfront even if the name changes from Summerstrand M4 to Humewood M4. Travel along the beachfront and turn right into 6th Avenue, just after the Marine Hotel (Protea). On the Bay is just up the road across Margate Street and 6th Avenue. From the airport: Turn right into ‘Alister Miller’. At the traffic lights turn right and follow ‘La Roche’ to the beachfront (McDonalds will be on the right-hand side). Turn right and travel along the beachfront. Turn right into 6th Avenue just after the Marine Hotel (Protea). On the Bay is just up the road across of Margate Street.
