We are situated between Witbank (Emalahleni) and Middelburg ( Van Dykes Drif off ramp from N4) just off the R555 a prepared gravel road is the path that Oom Barries took back in 1985 to Presidentsrus. He came over the hill and fell in love with the mystical view from afar. With humble beginnings as an Inn, caravan and camping site Olifants river was born.
We are 200 km shot from all major metropolitan areas (Pretoria ,Johannesburg, Nelspruit almost Polokwane). Olifants river has 9 multi-purpose conference rooms, multi-media equipped with different size rooms to suite small to large groups - up to 650 in main venue. Our versatility for different functions, conferences, team-building and exhibitions allows us to host any event, our large property also gives us the freedom to do exhibitions and shows when needed. The conference venues are taste fully decorated. Therefore if you require a formal corporate conference, Gala dinner, wedding or 21st birthday party our rooms can be decorated, draped to suit your occasion.

From Johannesburg / Pretoria - Toll road:
Take the N4 / N12 Emalahleni (Witbank) Highway. After the Shell Ultra City, take the first offramp (Middelburg West / Van Dyksdrift - R575 Road). Turn left towards Middelburg, carry on until you get to the 4-way stop (R555 Old Witbank / Middelburg Road). Turn left towards Emalahleni (Witbank) for about 4 km. On your left hand side will be the Telkom / FM Towers and on your right hand side the Presidentsrus turnoff. Turn right here and travel for 11 km on the gravel road and you will be at the Lodge.
From Johannesburg / Pretoria - Via Emalahleni (Witbank) Old Middelburg / Witbank road:
Take the N12 / N4 towards Emalahleni (Witbank). These two roads become the N4 when you pass Emalahleni (Witbank). Take the Mandela Drive offramp. The Ridge Casino is on the left hand side. At the traffic light, turn left into Mandela Drive. Turn right into OR Tambo Road. Carry on with this road until you come to the 4-way stop at Kentucky and Sasol Garage. Turn right into the R555 (Voortrekker Road), towards Middelburg. This is the old Witbank/Middelburg Road. Travel on this road for 17.7 km. On your right hand side you will see the Telkom / FM Tower, on the left hand side will be a road sign displaying 'Presidentsrus'. Turn left into this road (gravel road). Travel for +/- 11 km and you will be at the Lodge.
From Nelspruit:
Take the N4 towards Middelburg. Take the R575 offramp (Middelburg West/ Van Dyksdrift ). Turn right towards Middelburg, carry on until you get to the 4-way stop (R555 Old Witbank / Middelburg Road). Turn left towards Emalahleni (Witbank) for about 4 km. On your left hand side will be the Telkom / FM Towers and on your right hand side the Presidentsrus turnoff. Turn right here and travel for 11 km on the gravel road and you will be at the Lodge.
