Originally the first school in Klawer, the building was bought by the current owners and lovingly restored maintaining its gleaming original wooden floors in the classrooms which now serve as luxury guest rooms. Several improvements have been made to the property which include an outstanding caravan and camping site in the beautiful treed garden. Beautiful entertainment areas are dotted throughout the property for guests to use for a BBQ with friends and family. A magnificent sparkling swimming pool is central to the main entertainment area of the guest house where guests can relax during the balmy summer days. The freshest seasonal ingredients available are used in the preparation of all meals at Oasis Country Lodge. Guests will enjoy being spoiled at the breakfast and dinner table with the delicious meals prepared. Should you wish to have a BBQ you need only ask managment who will gladly oblige with a beautiful picnic basket for your BBQ feast.

Oasis Country Lodge also offers spacious air conditioned, fully equipped and catered conference facilities for up to 30 delegates Several outdoor BBQ areas and a stunning garden. We are able to provide you with limited overnight refrigeration/freezer space in the event that you should require this service. WiFi is available on the premises. We provide a daily laundry service for guests upon request. Oasis Country Lodge provides delicious dinners upon request in addition to fabulous BBQ packs for an day/evening at the pool. There are several entertainment areas where you can sit down to a BBQ so you can enjoy!
Klawer is situated directly on the N7 route between Cape Town and Namibia offering the traveller an ideal stopover as it falls virtually halfway between Namibia and Cape Town. The town of Klawer was originally known as Klawervlei and was so named after the wild clover which is found prolifically in the area during the rainy winter season (April to August). Temperatures in Klawer are known to climb to above 40 degrees Celsius in the Summer months and as low as an average of 12.4 degrees Celsius during Winter. During spring, Klawer and surrounds are covered by a carpet of wild flowers for which the area is so well known. Klawer is a central point on your northbound route to access the towns of Vredendal, Strandfontein, Lambert’s Bay, Clanwilliam and Vanrhynsdorp.
