Ntoma Safari & Golf Villa is a lovely thatched-roof home situated right in the heart of the iconic bushveld Hans Merensky Golf Estate, just outside of Phalaborwa. Overlooking the 6th tee, this home is ideally suited for guests who are planning a golf getaway or a family holiday. This home can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, double basin and toilet. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds, and a bunk bed, and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, double basin and toilet. Bed linen and bath towels are provided, however guests are required to bring their own swimming towels. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The dining and lounging areas have comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and for guests’ entertainment there is a TV. Access to Wi-Fi is available. Guests can enjoy a patio overlooking the golf course with a braai, as well as a private swimming pool. Secure parking is available on the premises. The estate boasts an on-site restaurant and an 18-hole championship golf course, and free-roaming game, making it great for a golfing and wildlife experience. Local amenities such as shops and restaurants are within close proximity, with the Phalaborwa Gate for the Kruger National Park being approximately 4 km away.

The modern, copper mining town, situated just 3 kilometers from the Kruger National Park. Phalaborwa is the site of the’ Big Hole’, the earth’s largest man-made hole, visible from space and pretty awe inspiring, even if you’re not impressed by mines in general. Mining and smelting of copper and iron ore date back to 400 AD when the Sotho called the area, Ba-Phalaborwa’, meaning: better than the south’. It is unsurprising then that a lot of the activities in Phalaborwa centre on mining - you can visit the Foskor Mine Museum, take a mine tour and visit the open cast mine, which will leave few visitors indifferent to the sheer width of the two kilometer diameter. The Hans Merensky Country Club just happens to have one of the best golf courses in the country.
