Nestled on the foot of Table Mountain in the suburb of Vredehoek, Nes, the Afrikaans word for “nest”, offers guests comfortably furnished self-catering accommodation in a quiet and leafy street.

Built-in 1932, the house has been renovated, keeping the character of the house while giving it a modern and luxurious feel.  The multi-storey house offers guests 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a lounge that opens onto a lovely patio.  The first-floor sunny room is furnished with an extra-length queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, with luxurious bathrobes for guests to use.

Decorated with animal skulls, beautiful plants and a soft Persian carpet, a hairdryer and hair straightener are provided.  The room has a TV that swivels, a fridge, a ceiling fan and opens onto a private sun deck with sun loungers overlooking Signal Hill and Table Mountain.  Located downstairs is a Jacuzzi in a jungle-themed setting with lights next to an open patio that flows into the second part of the house.  The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, a TV, decorative animal skulls and lots of plants, and a sleeper couch is available in the living area.  The bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower head, with luxurious bathrobes for guests to use, as well as a washer-dryer combo.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove and oven, a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee-making facilities and a dining area.  The lounge has comfortable seating, a TV that swivels, Wi-Fi booster and an Alexa speaker.

Vredehoek is situated between Devil’s Peak and Oranjezicht, in a very friendly and leafy neighbourhood. Offering stunning views of Signal Hill and Table Mountain and still just a quick 10 minute drive to the hustle and bustle of the City centre, the V&A Waterfront, Clifton beach and the world famous Camp’s Bay strip. Closer to home we are in walking distance to a few restaurants, a great pub, a SPAR mini market, liquor store, laundromat and foot paths that leads to walking trails up Table Mountain.

-  If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
-  If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
-  If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.

* For bookings longer than 7 days, the Nes will be serviced every 7th day at an additional cost of R350.
* Stairs provide access to sections of the accommodation.

From Cape Town International Airport: - Head south on Airport Ring Road and proceed for 950 m; - Turn left toward Airport Approach Rd and proceed for 2.1 km; - Merge onto N2 and proceed for 11.3 km; - Use the left 2 lanes to take the M3/Philip Kgosana Drive exit toward Cape Town S/Table Mountain and proceed for 300 m; - Continue onto Philip Kgosana Dr/M3 for 2.6 km; - Turn left onto Barnham Ave and proceed for 300 m; - Continue onto Noordelik Ave for 240 m; - Turn right onto Derry St and proceed for 150 m; - Turn left onto Lambert Rd and proceed for 160 m; - 29 Lambert Road will be on the left.
