Located only 8kms from the Von Lindequist Gate on the eastern outskirts of the Etosha National Park, Mushara Lodge is ideally situated for travelers visiting the park.
Accommodation at Mushara Lodge
In a horseshoe shape around the swimming pool there are ten well-spaced thatched chalets.
The thatched public area consists of a small library with a selection of good books, a bar with an extensive wine cellar, airy lounge with welcoming fireplace for chilly winter evenings, a dining area and well stocked curio shop.
A sumptious buffet-style breakfast and excellent cuisine at dinner complemented by a comprehensive wine list is served by dedicated staff in the air-conditioned dining room or on the terrace overlooking a large swimming pool.
Great attention has been paid to the dcor, which is an eclectic blend of traditional African and modern art works combined with original paintings.
A feature of Mushara is its large, tiled, bright blue swimming pool surrounded by green lawn that is kept well manicured by the occasional visiting local wildlife.
Guided game drives into the park can be pre-booked. On our game drives guests experience a fascinating perspective of wildlife in Etosha.
Two well marked hiking trails are ideal for those guests who want to stretch their legs and listening to the sound of african nature.
Each chalet and the rooms are extremely spacious and are furnished with air-conditioning, mosquito net, mini bar fridge,safe, tea and coffee making facilities, electric lights, direct dial telephone, wardrobe and luggage rack.
The bathrooms are en suite with separate toilette. Seven of the chalets and the three guide rooms have just a shower and the other three chalets, the triple room and the single rooms have a bath and shower.

From Tsumeb drive approx. 74 kilometers on the B1 and then turn left to Namutoni on the C38.
After another 19 kilometer you will find the entrance gate to Mushara Lodge on your left-hand side.
Children are welcome at Mushara Lodge. Children up to age of 3 years are free of charge. For children 4 years and older normal rates apply.
