Monte Rosa Guesthouse was built in 1904 and we value the history of its Victorian heritage. Located in the main street of Rawsonville, it has become a convenient destination to guests enjoying the calm and tranquil environment. The huge structured garden embraces the comfortable guesthouse providing a sense of home and ensures a peaceful rest.
This gracious Victorian house is surrounded by vineyards and the magnificent mountains of the Breede River Valley - a region well-known for its superb wines and on the popular wine cellars.
Monte Rosa Guesthouse is the only 4 star in the Breede River Valley and has eight luxurious rooms.
The elegant homestead boasts with a brookie lace patio, Oregon shutters and floors with high elevated ceilings in the main house.
In the spacious lounge, the fireplace comforts guests during those winter cold days and nights while sipping on wine or hot beverages filtering the cold. The two self catering cottages are ideal for families of 3 to 4 people conveniently apart from the main house with direct access to the garden.
We serve a light breakfast either in the snug dining room or on the patio overlooking the immaculate garden.

More than 30 days prior to arrival, 0% cancellation fee.
More than 7 days prior to arrival, 50% cancellation fee.
Less than 7 days prior to arrival, 100% cancellation fee.
Driving north from Cape Town International Airport, turn left onto Freight Road. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Airport Approach Road. Merge onto Settlers Way/N2 via the ramp towards Somerset. Take the exit 22A towards R300/Bellville. Merge onto Kuils River Road/R300. Take the exit on the right onto N1 towards Paarl/Worcester. Drive through the toll gate and through the 4km Huguenot tunnel. Turn right onto the Old N1 at Rawsonville sign. Turn right into Brand street driving into Rawsonville. At the T-junction turn left and drive 75m where you will find Monte Rosa Guesthouse on your right.
