Moholoholo nestles on the slopes of Mariepskop, offering a breathtaking view of the towering mountains and vertical cliffs on one side, and the rolling savanna towards Kruger Park on the other.
Moholoholo is not situated on a Big 5 game reserve but it offers a unique experience for eco-tourists. It is host to a unique habitat for over 300 bird species, a variety of wildlife and guided tours through the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre brings visitors in close contact with the rare and common species.
Situated on the banks of the Banks of the Blyde River, just off the R531, magical Ya Mati awaits you. Hidden under lush trees, surrounded by beautifully kept lawns and the Blyde River running through it, Ya Mati is the ideal venue for that very special wedding or function.
It has a unique stone and thatch chapel, spacious riverside function facilities and 5 luxury self catering chalets (can sleep 30 people)
When its time for that well earned break and you need to escape the rat race, the peace and tranquility of Ya Mati will have you coming back for more.
Ya Mati is well situated as a base to visti many of the other destinations in the Loweld area
Weddings of up to 160 can be held in our marquee tent and up to 100 people in our restaurant.

- 1 x 8 Bed Luxury Chalet: 4 Bed roomed chalet with 3 bathrooms; fully equipped kitchen, private braai area on wooden deck and living room with a TV.
- 1 x 6 Bed River Chalets: 3 Bed roomed chalet with 2 bathrooms; fully equipped kitchen, private braai area and swimming pool in boma , living room with a TV and a separate deck which overlooks the Blyde river.
- 1 x 4 Bed Chalet: 2 Bed roomed chalet with 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, private braai area on wooden deck and a living room with a TV.
Breakfast and lunch can be enjoyed at Ya Mati`s unique tea garden. Dinner can be self-catering or catered for at an additional cost.
Camping:
With eleven exclusive sights carefully sculptured out of the bush, each sight offers total seclusion from the other. Equipped with water, electricity and private braai area, Ya Mati Caravan Camp caters for the discerning outdoor caravan enthusiast.
Thatched ablution facilities offer hot and cold water on tap and tastefully decorated in true Moholoholo style.
