Situated on a foothill on the doorstep of world heritage site Cradle of Human Kind, Misty Morn Cottages greet guests with a warm farm-like welcome.

We offer the whole family an opportunity to come away from the buzz and take off shoes. Our cottages are centrally located to several wedding venues, offering family and friends a pleasant stay before and after the wedding. One of the most popular cycling routes in the Cradle area borders our front yard, allowing cyclists easy access to a good workout over the weekend without having to drive back home.

The open spaces, sky high Bluegum Trees, and the beautiful view of the surrounding area, invite guests to unwind and take some time out. A hike to the top of the hill behind the premises will reward with a picturesque view of the greater Johannesburg.

Accommodation at Misty Morn Cottages:
Misty Morn has five fully equipped, spacious cottages, existing of a small to medium size kitchen, living area with either a bunk bed or sleeper couch, a main bedroom and bathroom. Our bathrooms are all fitted with a bath as well as a shower, with the exemption of one with a luxurious double shower.

Two of our cottages are furnished with air-conditioning and two with fire-places. Our easy-living stylish self-catering cottages offer guests a comfortable pleasant stay away from home.

Activities:

We have a sparkling clear salt-water swimming pool for cooling down on hot summer days. Misty Morn is the ideal base to explore the area which provides a variety of activities such as fishing, fly-fishing, cycling, BMX trails, game drives and game watching, spa treatments, hot-air balloon flights and many more.

Perfect for families of up to four, our cozy space features one queen-size bed and one queen-size sleeper couch. Enjoy one main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (with bath and shower), a living area with sleeper couch and fireplace.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Perfect for families of up to five, our cozy space features one queen-size bed and a bunk bed with a single top bunk and double bottom bunk.

Feel The Country - Cottage
Accommodates up to four, ideal for a couple or friends sharing. Beds: One queen size bed and one queen size couch. Rooms: One spacious main bedroom with en-suite bathroom (luxurious double shower), living area with sleeper couch and kitchen.

Mountain View - Cottage
Mountain View is a 2 sleeper Cottage, which can either accommodate two single guests, each on an extra length single bed, or a couple where the bed will be transformed into a king size bed. The Cottage is snug and comfortable with beautiful sunset views.

The Balloon Room - Deluxe Family Cottage
Accommodates a family of up to five. Beds: One queen size bed and one bunk bed (single bed top and double bed bottom). Rooms: One main bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath and shower), living area with bunk bed and kitchen.
