mFulaWozi Wilderness Biyela Lodge  -  It is here that you walk in the footsteps of giants such as Shaka Zulu and Dr Ian Player. Beautiful Lodges that overlook the mighty White iMfolozi River.

Tastefully decorated with our African heritage shining through. Come and experience the African Wilderness at it’s best. The lodges are nestled on the banks of the White iMfolozi River, in the heart of Zululand. The lodges and their private suites offer a quiet and naturally elegant definition of space.

It is here you can realise the experience of watching wildlife up close.  With two daily ‘Big 5’ game drives a day, you will leave having had an authentic African Wilderness experience.

Biyela translates as ‘protector’. The fitting symbol of the Biyela clan is the all-powerful and majestic African Elephant. The chief of this area, a descendent of King Shaka, is Phlwayinkosi Biyela, who is committed to safeguarding the people of his clan, their Culture and livelihoods, as well as the surrounding wilderness. The lodge is named after his clan. With this low-impact lodge, he brings the dreams of his father to life.
