Die Wyntenke is a stylish rustic farmhouse ideal for larger groups. It features a large braai and entertainment room with indoor fireplace, Smart TV, Netflix, uncapped Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a spacious open-plan TV/lounge area with another fully equipped kitchen. Outside offers a braai area, large neat lawn, and easy walking-distance river access.
A Snoozer’s Cottage offers cozy private accommodation approximately 100 metres from the river. Ideal for couples, families, friends, or business travellers wanting privacy and tranquillity. The cottage is booked privately and never shared with other guests. It features an open-plan living area, fully equipped kitchen, patio with braai area, large neat lawn, lovely farm views, Smart TVs, Netflix, uncapped Wi-Fi, washing machine, and river access within walking distance.
Die Langhuis and Annex offer simple, affordable accommodation for longer stays, contractors, and work teams, with uncapped Wi-Fi, DSTV/Netflix, kitchen and braai facilities, washing machines, and practical layouts.
Activities focus on the Breede River experience: swimming, fishing, canoeing, relaxing along the riverbanks, farm walks, cycling, birdwatching, sunsets, cosy fireplaces, and private braai areas. 3 May 2026: Die Houthuis was destroyed during the devastating floodwaters that struck the Breede River Valley. Although the building is gone, the legacy lives on. - Built in 1967, Die Houthuis was the first guesthouse in Bonnievale. Today, only the remains of the original structure can still be viewed.

It’s also located right off of Route 62 if you’re headed in from another direction. This charming oasis is a little less known than other tourist hot-spots so you’ll get a more down-home, quaint feel and get more personal attention with the locals. You can’t beat the superior customer service and charm that Bonnievale has, especially compared to some other overcrowded sites and stays.
