Manyane Resort is nestled at the gateway to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, set in un spoilt natural surroundings.

Located near the gates of Pilanesberg National Park, the resort offers guests the chance to enjoy an extraordinary adventure without having to sacrifice contemporary comforts. These conveniences come in many forms, from fully furnished chalets and campsites with electricity to facilities such as a swimming pool and restaurant.

With all these on hand, its easy to go to one of South Africa’s wildlife safaris and just enjoy its numerous outdoor diversions. After all, when the sun goes down and its time to retreat to a relaxing and convenient space, the resort is here to answer your most crucial needs.

To suit the tastes and budgets of different travelers, a wide range of accommodations is available. Here, you can choose between a homey cottage or a stay that’s closer to nature, as the resort offers fully furnished Chalets and Safari Tents with electricity. For those who are more adventurous, Caravan Sites and Campsites with electricity are also available. Regardless of your choice, all accommodations offer access to centrally-located ablution facilities.

If you are looking to take your private vehicle into the park to do your own game drives, the fees at the gate of entry, are as follows:

Adults: R80 (SA citizens should produce ID to substantiate citizenship)
Adults International Guests: R110
Children (6-12 years): R30

Wildlife
The resort’s biggest attraction is its easy access to the park, one of the best places to go on a safari in South Africa. Various species of flora and fauna reside here, from lions and leopards to the interesting Kiwano fruit. But it doesn’t stop there. A number of facilities and services here such as pools and playgrounds prove that there’s so much more to the resort than just seeing the Big 5.

An abundance of wild life proliferate in 580 km of diverse and arresting bushveld terrain. The park is home to healthy populations of lion, leopard, black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo - Africa’s “Big Five”.

A wide variety of rare and common species exist with endemic species like the nocturnal brown hyena, the fleet-footed cheetah, the majestic sable, as well as giraffe, zebra, hippo and crocodile, to mention but a few.

Convenient Safari Experience:
The national park is right next to the resort, which means easy access to the exotic sights and sounds that the park has to offer. No need to travel far from the comforts of your Chalet, Tent, or Caravan to experience the exciting adventures of the safari.

If you want to explore sights beyond the national park, you can easily head to the nearest tourist hotpots in the area. Go for an exciting night out at Sun City or a day trip to Rustenberg’s historic churches and museum.

Accommodation at Manyane Resort:
Please Note a minimum stay of 2 nights is required over weekends.

Guests have several types of accommodation to choose from. For starters, they can stay at one of our Chalets, which are designed as proper brick-and-wood cottages that can house 2 to 4 guests. These boast of air-conditioning, refrigerator, private patio, TV, kitchenette, and more.

Those who want to strike the balance between a more authentic experience and comfort at our resort can choose a Safari Tent. Suitable for 2 guests, these are equipped with amenities such as electricity, refrigerator, coffee and tea-making facilities, and proper beds to sleep in.

Meanwhile, those who want to get closer to the wild outdoors can book one of our Caravan Sites or Campsites. These sites are an affordable option for those who are bringing their own tents or trailers inside the reserve. Regardless of type, all our accommodations in Pilanesberg have easy access to centrally located ablution facilities.

The resort does not offer self catering anymore, although accommodation is in self catering units. You can book on bed and breakfast and self cater for lunch and dinner.
