Mabalingwe is situated below the beautiful Waterberg Mountain range, just west of Bela Bela and is famous for its Big 5 game. A variety of activities are available, from predator feedings and game drives to horse riding. A game drive is the perfect way to experience the unfiltered beauty of the bushveld and to see the wildlife in their natural habitat.Different species are active during different times of the day. On horse back, you have the advantage of exploring sightings where game drive vehicles can not reach. Some wildlife will allow you to ride close by such as herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope. The Predator Park offers you a chance to see how amazing and powerful different predators can be. This experience is quite different from just reading or hearing about them.

Cancellation Policy:
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total. If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit. If cancelling 44 days before arrival, forfeit 35% of the deposit. If cancelling 60 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit. If cancelling 90 days before arrival, forfeit 15% of the deposit.
Terms and Conditions
Booking Policy:
* Check-in is only allowed upon receipt of a 100% pre-payment and may be cancelled without prior notification if the following payment requirements are not met:
* Reservations made less than 7 days prior to arrival require a 100% pre-payment within 24 hours of making the reservation.
* Reservations made 7 to 14 days prior to arrival require 100% pre-payment within 48 hours of making the reservation.
* Reservations made more than 14 days in advance require a 50% deposit within 48 hours of making the reservation and the full payment (outstanding 50%) at least 7 days prior to the arrival date.
Moving Booking Dates:
* When moving a booking from one date to another, a 10% admin fee of your first night?s stay will be added to the booking.
Refund Policy:
* Mabalingwe Game Reserve will unfortunately not refund accommodation paid if caused by the following factors:
* Weather conditions
* Damage or injury sustained by wild animals
* Damages or inconvenience caused by loadshedding
* Negligence of guest not reporting a matter to reception / management.
* Negligence of guest not complying with policies, rules and regulations set out by Mabalingwe Game Reserve.
* If expectations are not met, but all information was correctly represented by Mabalingwe Game Reserve.
Arrivals and Departure Policy:
* Check-In Time: 2 PM
* Check-Out Time: 10 AM
* Early Check-In: If you wish to begin your stay earlier, we would be happy to welcome you. Early check-ins are based upon availability and may include an additional charge. Complimentary early check-in may be available but not guaranteed on the day of arrival.
* Late Check-Out: Late check-out is based upon availability and includes an additional charge of R100 per hour. Any late check-out past 2 PM will be charged for an additional night.
Breakage Deposit and Damages:
* This policy authorises the reserve to deduct a specific amount for breakages or damages of items or property from the breakage deposit paid by the guest upon arrival.
* Card payments: If a breakage deposit was paid with a card or EFT, the deposit will be refunded within 7 working days after departure.
* Cash payments: If breakage deposit was paid with cash, cash will be refunded upon departure after the unit has been inspected.
* NO check-in will be allowed without breakage deposit being paid.
* Damages, breakages, and missing items will be charged according to the inventory list or maintenance report and only the remaining amount will be refunded.
* If the damages should exceed the amount, guests will be held accountable in paying the balance.
* Guests will also forfeit their breakage/key deposit as stated in the resort and house rules.
* The guests are responsible to confirm all inventory items in the list provided in each unit upon check in. Any damages, breakages and missing items must be reported to the reception within 12 hours.

- Exit the airport on Voortrekker Road, turn right and follow the signs for the R21/Pretoria, proceed for 550 m;
- Merge onto the R21 and proceed for 16.3 km;
- Keep right to stay on the R21 and proceed for 16.2 km;
- Take Exit 134 for the N1 N towards Polokwane and proceed for 2.2 km;
- Merge onto the N1 and proceed for 88.8 km;
- Take Exit 224 twoards the R576/Bela Bela/R516/R101/Settlers/Codrington and proceed for 550 m;
- Turn left and proceed for 2.5 km;
- Turn right onto the R101 and proceed for 17.9 km;
- Turn left onto Potgieter Road and proceed for 160 m;
- Turn right onto Ritchie Road and proceed for 220 m;
- Turn left onto Voortrekker Road and proceed for 800 m;
- At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rooiberg Road, proceed for 230 m;
- Continue onto the R516 and proceed for 26.5 km;
- Turn right to the Mabalingwe Game Reserve entrance gate and proceed for 1.1 km to Mabalingwe reception.
