Lion’s Den Game Lodge is situated within the Pride of Africa Nature Reserve in Gauteng’s renowned Dinokeng Game Reserve, the region’s only Big 5 game reserve. This exclusive-use lodge offers an authentic safari experience in a peaceful, malaria-free bushveld setting, just 45 minutes from Pretoria and 60 minutes from Johannesburg. International guests can enjoy a full-board package, including dinner, bed and breakfast, and two guided game drives (beverages excluded).
Local guests can book on a room-only basis and dine at the restaurants within the reserve. A cash bar is available on site, and guests are not permitted to bring their own beverages. Guided game drives for local guests are available at an additional charge.
Lodge facilities include a swimming pool, outdoor lapa, BBQ and boma areas, cash bar, conference room and free Wi-Fi in the main lodge. Guided game drives provide the opportunity to see the Big 5 and a variety of other wildlife.
Accommodation consists of two Executive Honeymoon Suites with an extra-length king-size bed, private deck, en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower, air conditioning, tea and coffee-making facilities, and daily housekeeping. As the lodge is located within a game reserve, guests are required to pay a daily conservation levy. Exclusive Lodge Hire The entire lodge can be booked exclusively, offering 16 luxury en-suite rooms accommodating up to 32 guests. Exclusive use includes all lodge facilities, making it ideal for conferences, weddings, celebrations and group getaways.
