Eat, sleep and revive your soul at Liedjiesbos B&B a short drive outside Bloemfontein in tranquil Groenvlei.

Liedjiesbos is an intriguing mix of farm stay meets its super-stylish cousin, which translates into luxurious accommodation but with a homely, warm soul. Here you can chill on the stoep while savouring your organic coffee or eating something yummy and wholesome which was conjured up in our kitchen.

At Liedjiesbos we are passionate about making a difference in saving the environment. This philosophy inspired us to plant only indigenous plants, and to do things as organically as possible. We want to show people that indigenous can be beautiful and thus we have planted hundreds of indigenous trees and shrubs at Liedjiesbos.

The talented duo designed the buildings in such a way that they use as little energy as possible for the heating and cooling of the interiors. Most of the original building material was re-used or recycled, and energy saving devices and solar geysers were installed to reduce our carbon footprint.

The interior of this four star bed and breakfast Guest House near Bloemfontein reflects our love of art, antiques and travel. The dcor is a blend of old and new, African, Egyptian, Chinese, Vietnamese, and more. All this creates an eclectic atmosphere with a luxurious, yet well lived in, and comfortable feel. We believe in bringing together people, food and beautiful things - but keeping it down to earth and accessible.
