reception. There are many more exciting activities such as Whale
Watching, Turtle Breeding, Deep Sea Fishing, Snorkeling, Estuary Boat Cruises
etc excursions that can be arranged and booked from the Guest House’s
reception. We will gladly explain all these excursions to our guests and will arrange
and make all your activity bookings for you.
Each of
the rooms has its own cooler box for guests to use. We recommend
packing it full of goodies for a picnic lunch in the Wetland
Park. Hampers are also available, made to order, upon request.

Cancellation Policy:
The Guests can cancel free of charge until 21 days before arrival.
The Guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within 21 days before arrival.
If the Guest does not show up, they will be charged the total price of the reservation.
The Guest will be charged a 50% prepayment of the total price after reservation at any time.
The Guest will be charged a 100% prepayment of the total price for 1 night stays.
Terms and Conditions
Check-in time: 14:00 to 18:00. Check-out time: 07:00 to 10:00. Contact the Lodge and inform us of your time of arrival. Contact the Lodge if arriving after 18:00 to make arrangements. No Check-in after 21:00 as nobody is available at the Lodge to do Check-ins, unless prior arrangements had been made with the Lodge Manager. No loud noise or parties of any nature will be allowed. No noise between 22:00 and 07:00 (Quiet hours). Our Lodge’s generator will operate in cases of power outages/load shedding between 07:00 and 22:00. The generator is not allowed to operate during quiet hours, which are from 22:00 to 07:00. Please respect other guests’ privacy and peace at all times. All refunds will be subject to a 5% admin fee in order to cover for bank transaction fees. Only Lodge guests allowed on the property. Right of admission reserved at all times. Guests are reminded to bring beach towels, beach ambarellas & insect repellents when visiting our Lodge. The Lodge’s bathroom towels are not for use by the pool area or to be taken to the beach under no circumstances.
Directions:
From Johannesburg/Pretoria: The safest way, nowadays, to travel to our lodge, from Johannesburg/Pretoria, is to take the N3 towards Durban. When approaching Durban, turn North onto the N2 towards St Lucia. Continue North on the N2 past Umhlanga, Balito, King Shaka airport & Richards Bay, Take the turn-off on your left towards Mtubatuba and St Lucia (R618). When in Mtubatuba, follow the R618 towards St Lucia (St Lucia is located approximately 27km East of Mtubatuba). When you arrive in the greater St Lucia Wetland Park: Pass over the bridge. Follow the road till you reach the traffic circle. Turn left in McKenzie Street (this is the main street of St Lucia) - then immediately turn right into Beach Road. Follow this road till you reach the second turn off on your right, turn right into Kingfisher Road. The first road on your left will be Garrick Road. Turn left into Garrick Road and follow this road. This road leads into Sandpiper Street. We are situated at number 7 Sandpiper Street. PLEASE HAVE A SAFE JOURNEY ON YOUR WAY TO OUR LODGE.
