Le Must River Manor is situated in Upington, heart of the green Kalahari, Northern Cape, South Africa. The guest houses were established in 1985 by Niel Stemmet. The two river front properties, Le Must Residence and Le Must River Manor, were converted from family homes into guest houses. In these houses guests are offered real, warm and honest Northern Cape service.
The houses are within easy walking distance of the central business district of Upington, the gateway to the great Kalahari desert, making them an ideal stop over place for both business and leisure travelers.
Upington is situated 800 km from both Johannesburg and Cape Town, and is only a 200km detour on the Johannesburg / Cape Town route via Calvinia, which compares favorably to the N1 national road between those two cities.
Guests at the manor can enjoy relaxing in the tranquil gardens, cat fishing, river swimming or bathing at the residence, boat rides on sakkie se arkie, bird watching and golf at Upington golf club. You will love our relaxed ambience and comfortable accommodation. We steer clear of pretentious service, offering our guests the real comforts of home in both atmosphere and hospitality.
Le Must Manor consists of five en-suite bedrooms that vary in size and one family suite. The family suite is on the upper level of the house and offers 2 bedrooms, 1 shower room and a lounge overlooking the orange river. A third bedroom with shower en-suite shares the upstairs lounge.
Four of the outside rooms have private entrances. All bedrooms in the manor have white percale linen, air-conditioning, heating and selected satellite tv channels.
Turn from schrder street [main road diagonal with the orange river] into river road, [at the traffic light you will see north western land rover showroom] then the next road right in to Murray Avenue, behind absa bank.
