La Rose is an eclectic mix of French, Indian, Cape Malay and African influences, situated in the colourful Bo-Kaap where old world and modern embrace.

The historical Bo'Kaap also known as the Cape Malay quarters is recognised for being the only original settlement where Apartheid was never able to enforce forced removals making it, one of the richest historical sites in Cape Town.

Characterised by it's brightly coloured homes and cobble streets, you can buy anything from Indian spices, to traditional Cape Malay food as well as funky African art and craft, and is now a favoured destination for film and advertising shoots.

Ideally situated, it is one of the most central areas in the city, where everything is at walking distance. (Waterfront, city centre, Long street nightlife, green market square, parliament, International Convention Centre, Waterkant, trendy restaurants and cafes). Easy access to the citys major tourists destinations.

Experience the joy of visiting Cape Town by foot without having to worry about transport and parking.

A continental and/or traditional cooked breakfast will be served overlooking the garden patio or if the weather allows it, you will enjoy your breakfast in the sun overlooking the Cape Town morning buzz from the street terrace.

We can arrange dinner, laundry service and airport transfers upon request.

La Rose is a home away from home, designed to cater for tourists as well as business executives and is gay friendly.

Perfectly situated, walking distance from most attractions in the city and excellent hospitality. The breakfast is absolutely delicious with everything home made. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated and there is secure parking and guarded street parking. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable with good advice on restaurants and interesting things to see and do.

Location and ambiance are exceptional: right at the center and in this unique, Muslim Quarter.
The support by Yoann and his team can not be better.
Even the small rooms are very clean, with good bathrooms and an original creation.
