This was our fourth visit as an overnight stop over. Rooms are excellent, very spacious, clean and comfortable, bathrooms are showing their age but still functional. The air conditioning in the rooms works exceptionally well. Breakfast was good. Old Hotel but well worth a visit.

Although the hotel is rather quaint and outdated, it has a pleasant atmosphere and is clean and absolutely fine for a short stop over.

Real old-fashioned country hotel. Clean & neat, but showing its age. Lock up parking at the back is nice. No fresh milk for tea/coffee in the room is a minus. Typical Karoo character and good value for money.

Although the only large hotel/ inn in Middelburg, it was still a very pleasant surprise to get personal friendly service from the manager, Mt Du Pisani himself. Rooms were clean, air-con also available, bathroom facilities good, TV with all channels available and the adjoining Saddles restaurant served a wonderful springbok stew - so tender and very tasty. We had safe and secure parking in the courtyard behind a locked door and staff were very friendly and eager to help. Highly recommended and very good value.
