iKhaya LamaDube offers self service units. We have staff members on hand to assist with daily cleaning. We outsourced the game drives to operators, that fetch our guests at the lodge on request. Enjoy your time viewing game in their natural environment and have a coffee- or sundowner stop along the way. We are so privileged to have a Martial Eagle breeding site in Dinokeng Game Reserve. It seems this beautiful raptor is preparing for the breeding season. According to an Ornithologist, this might be the only active breeding site in Gauteng.
iKhaya LamaDube Game Lodge is situated in Dinokeng Game Reserve, a Self-catering destination in a malaria free Big5 Game Reserve on the doorstep of Johannesburg and Pretoria. This is the place where romance, peace and serenity awaits you in a natural African bush setting. IKhaya LamaDube strives to provide their guests with a true atmosphere of relaxation, seclusion and tranquility. A variety of private and intimate accommodation is available to suit individual preferences. Each of the eight units accommodates two persons only. Each unit has a private bushveld boma for a braai under the stars. Ideal also for small groups or friends to book the lodge in its entirety, be it a small conference, wedding or just a getaway. Animals that can be seen either on Game drive safari or self-drive: Big Five - Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Cheetah and plains game. Due to Lightning iKhaya sadly lost their Big5 Log house in a fire, but exciting is, that now our two beautiful and luxurious self- catering units are completed. They contain private splash pool, Indoor and outdoor shower, fireplace, bath with a view, undercover braai on patio, and open boma. These designs are unique and designed by well-known architects Crafford and Crafford.

Check-in time is from 14:00 to 19:30 unless otherwise arranged. Check-out time Is 10:00. Regrettably, no pets allowed. Regret no children. (Parents & Couples, romantic and peaceful breakaway). No smoking in the bedrooms. Smoking allowed on patio or deck where we supply ashtrays. No collecting of wood on the lodge or in the reserve, please bring your own wood or buy at reception. As we are a quiet bush lodge for people enjoying the sounds of the bushveld, no playing of music or loud partying is allowed on the premises. We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation or situation where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card. The cardholder & ID/Passport must be present at check-in. The credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in.
Suggested Route: Follow the N1 to the Hammanskraal/Boekenhoutskloof Offramp (tollgate). Follow the Boekenhoutskloof signs onto the Gravel Road. After 150m you enter the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve at the NDLOVU GATE. Follow that road for 10 km until you find our entrance road to the left, just before the fence of the Boekenhoutskloof Military Base ( if you drive through another Game Reserve gate, (Ts’ukulu- Gate) you are 300m too far ). Continue on that road up to the Lodge. You will reach the Lodge after about 6.5 km, just follow the road always straight on, after the low water bridge turn LEFT. Attention: No Arrivals allowed after 19:30 at the Lodge. You will forfeit your booking for that night without refund. Please plan accordingly.
