Nestled within the tranquil surroundings of Kuleni Private Game Park near Hluhluwe, Ihlathi Lodge offers a peaceful bush escape where nature takes centre stage. Designed for families, couples, and small groups seeking privacy and relaxation, this is an exclusive-use lodge.
The main house accommodates 4 adults and 2 children under 12 years old. Guests have the option to book the additional 2-sleeper glamping tent and 2-sleeper cabin at an additional cost, upon request. A baby can be accommodated in a cot, which is available upon request. The lodge features two spacious, air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed. The en-suite bedrooms offer a full bathroom with a bath and shower; one of them has an outdoor shower as well. There is a third bathroom offering a shower and toilet only. The loft area accommodates the 2 children under 12 years old on 2 mattresses.
The heart of the lodge is its open-plan living space, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge and dining area that flows seamlessly onto a large outdoor deck and equipped with an inverter.
Guests have the option to book the glamping 2-sleeper tent and cabin, which are also situated on the property and available at an additional cost for four extra guests. The glamping tent offers a deck with 2 chairs, it comes fitted with 2 single beds, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower and toilet only.
The cabin features a double bed, a bathroom with a shower and toilet only, as well as a tea-and-coffee station with a bar fridge. This can be booked exclusively with the property.
Guests can spend their days cooling off in the private swimming pool, enjoying sundowners at the outdoor bar, gathering around the fire pit under the stars, or simply relaxing while watching nyala, zebra, and other wildlife visit the nearby watering hole.
