Secluded within the gardens are each of Hunter’s 5 luxurious room types, individually designed and decorated, each uniquely distinctive. Certain suites have their own plunge pools and sundecks. All suites have en-suite bathrooms with separate bath and shower (excluding the Terrace rooms), air-conditioner, mini bar, TV and fireplace.

If cancelling 4 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of the booking total.
If cancelling 15 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the booking total.
Check-in & Check-Out Procedures: Guests are welcomed to the lounge with a welcome drink, and indemnities signed. They are given a full orientation of the estate and then shown their cottages. A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the stay, with a minimum of one night, is required on confirmation of booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival at the hotel. The provision of goods and services by Hunter Hotels is subject to availability.
In cases of cancellations, Hunter Hotels will refund the client within 5 days subject to the below cancellation policy: Up to 31 days prior to arrival : 0% of the total cost of your stay will be due 30 to 16 days prior to arrival: 25% of the total cost of your stay will be due 15 to 8 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total cost of your stay will be due 7 to 5 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total cost of your stay will be due 4 to 0 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total cost of your stay will be due
No shows & early departures: 100% of the total cost of your stay will be due Peak Season cancellations (18 December to 10 January annually) within 45 days of arrival will result in 100% of the total cost of the stay being withheld. All cancellations will ONLY be validated if received in writing and by Hunter Hotels Reservations Department. Receipt of your deposit or pre-payment assumes unconditional agreement to our terms.
10km from Plettenberg Bay on the N2 to Knysna, turn left at our Hunters Country House signboards and travel 1.5km along the gravel road. Hunters is 5km from Tsala and Gorah is 290km.
