General Description The Hoedjiesbaai Hotel, partially built into the water, offers a magnificent view of the tranquil bay of Saldanha and surrounding environs. The hotel was built in 1970 and decorated in a retro style with modern fixtures. We have 32 rooms where the rooms on the second floor have balconies. The rooms are en-suite and spacious with options of a double bed or two single beds. Wake up in the heart of the West Coast, to a spectacular sunrise over the water. Spend the day on the beach or take short drives and explore the surrounding towns. The hotel is perfectly located to explore the West Coast. It is 150km from Cape Town International Airport and 7.2 km from the Saldanha Airstrip. The hotel is 10.7km from the West Coast Mall and within walking distance of shopping centres. The Eigebraai Restaurant is situated on the 3rd floor of the hotel with a spectacular 360° view of Saldanha and the harbor. Restaurant are open from Monday to Saturday between 07h30 to 21h30 and on Sundays only from 07h30 to 16h00. Our restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and has its own bar and lounge area for that ideal sun-downer Hoedjiesbaai under new management since 2023 has been hosting live concerts at the Hotel with famous south African singers like Sonja Herholdt, Steve Hofmeyr, Nadine, Emo Adams, Nianell, just to name a few, and we still continue to host entertainment from time to time in the Hotel for our guests and the community. We do also specialize in weddings and any type of functions.

Directions:

From Cape Town: Take the R27 (West Coast Road) and continue for approximately 140 km. Turn left at the Saldanha turn-off and continue until you reach a T junction. Turn left into the R45. As you enter Saldanha, at the first traffic light turn left into Kamp Road and immediately right into Main Road. The hotel is on your left .
