Area Info:

Fish Hoek, also known as “Vishoek” in Afrikaans, is a coastal suburb on the False Bay side of the Cape Peninsula in Cape Town, Western Cape. The town is situated in a long, shallow valley surrounded by mountains, opening onto False Bay, which provides it with a unique combination of sea views and mountainous terrain. Its postal code is 7975. Fish Hoek is renowned for its village-like atmosphere, which makes it a popular destination for families and retirees who appreciate a strong sense of community. The area offers excellent outdoor recreation opportunities. Fish Hoek Beach is one of the main attractions, a long sandy beach with a sheltered bay ideal for swimming.
