Hermanus is world renowned as the Best Land Based Whale Watching area. We also have an expanding wine route with 16 wineries and several restaurants. The valley boasts several bike trails of various difficulties. Fernkloof Nature reserve is also world renowned for diverse flora an fauna and several hiking trails. The cliff path is a spectacular easy, walking trail extending from the New Harbour, through the town center and down to grotto beach. Plenty of whale watching sites along the way.

Directions from Cape Town International Airport: *Get on Settlers Way/N2 in Crossroads from Borcherds Quarry Rd/M22 *Follow N2. Take exit 90 from N2 *Continue onto R43 *Turn left onto R320 Caledon / Hemel en Aarde Rd *Turn Left into Hemel en Aarde Village. Go straight down Village Lane to the end of the Cul de Sac and your destination will be in front of you.
