Golden View Luxury Self Catering consist of a modern and tastefully decorated house and cottage situated in the beautiful Eastern Free State town of Clarens.

Embrace the clear space and majestic views of the Golden Maluti Mountains. Indulge in the tranquility of the surroundings and wide-open space, whilst enjoying the luxury of this modern self-catering cottage and house.

Situated in the beautiful Eastern Free State town of Clarens, it is within walking distance (5 minutes) from the town square with its many quint shops, art galleries and restaurants.

Nestled in the sunny part of Clarens, the deck and patio provide the ideal space to relax and enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains and countryside. The fireplaces will ensure warmth inside for a comfortable and cozy atmosphere during cold nights.

Accommodation at Golden View Luxury Self Catering:
Contain the View (Cottage)
The cottage consists of two bedrooms; the main bedroom equipped with a king size bed and the second bedroom with two single beds. There are two luxury bathrooms, one with a shower and a separate toilet. The kitchen, with its framing view of the mountains, is fully equipped with all the necessities: large fridge, gas stove, oven, microwave and toaster. The modern living area, which opens out onto the deck, consists of a dining room table, large couch and fireplace. Wood is provided. The patio/deck has seating with an umbrella and private braai facilities.

Willow Rest House
The main house (only available from December 2015) is a spacious, luxury furnished, 3-bedroom house with extended views from all the bedroom windows. The large open plan living space consists of a dining room, modern kitchen, double sitting room with extra large fireplace and a beautiful deck and patio with views over the Maluti Mountains. It is a spacious house, which is ideal for a large family with children (or families: it sleeps 8 people in 1 double size, two queen size and 2 single beds). There are two luxury bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath.

The studio is a large apartment ideal for a couple. It has a large corner tub, luxury Queen bed, sitting room with a fire place and fully equipped kitchen with a stove and microwave. There is a private entrance with a patio and braai place with the amazing view over the mountains. The decor is fun and eclectic but still very warm and cozy. The studio is situated in Clarens town, walking distance from the town square (400m). It is a romantic getaway for a couple or honeymooners.

Square Roots Studio

We are giving new meaning to the words SQUARE ROOTS. Our luxury couples unit is squarely rooted in the heart of Clarens, a mere stone throw from the town square. It feels like home away from home only without the hustle and bustle of city life. The fireplace makes it perfect for a romantic getaway! We provide a complimentary bag of wood in winter (April- August). The romantic setting has a luxury corner bath in the large en-suite bathroom. Perfect for that extra attention your loved one needs.

Willow Rest House

This is a luxury furnished, 3 bedroom house with extended views over the Maluti Mountains. Our tastefully decorated house with its original art work and wide selection of books will feel like home away from home! It is ideal for bigger groups and can accommodate up to 8 guests. Additional accommodation is available for larger groups, in a 2 bedroom cottage and a studio apartment on the 3000m2 stand. It has an open plan living space, modern kitchen, fireplace and verandah with magnificent view.
