The farm’s facilities encourage guests to slow down and connect with the surrounding landscape. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks through the expansive olive groves and vineyards or relax by the communal swimming dam on warmer days. Directions:
From Cape Town International Airport:
1. Leave the airport and head toward Cape Town on the N2 for about 3 km.
2. Take Exit 14 for the M7/Vanguard Drive towards Goodwood. Turn right onto the M7.
3. Keep straight on the M7 for roughly 10 km as it eventually becomes the N7 highway (the main road to Malmesbury).
4. Stay on the N7 for about 50 km. You'll pass through some beautiful Swartland scenery along the way.
5. Take the first Malmesbury turn-off (Exit 65). At the bottom of the off-ramp, turn left and curve under the bridge into Bokomo Road.
6. Drive through town until you hit the second set of robots (traffic lights) and turn left into Voortrekker Road.
7. Take your first right at the signpost for Paarl/Riebeek Kasteel (R45). You'll pass a large Dutch Reformed church on your left; shortly after that, turn right into Piet Retief Street.
8. Follow this road for about 4 km outside of Malmesbury, then turn left at the sign for Riebeek Kasteel/Ceres (R46).
9. After about 9 km, look for a small gravel road on your left marked Riebeeksrivier and turn there.
10. Drive for 2 km, pass the large dam, and turn right at the Goedgedacht Farm sign. Follow the farm road uphill for another 2 km to reach the reception.
