Fleur du Soleil Luxury Guesthouse offers five fully serviced luxury suites. All suites are serviced daily and are equipped with all luxuries one would expect from a luxury establishment to have an unforgettable stay, while allowing you to take full advantage of all that Franschhoek cafes and restaurants have to offer.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed with a glass of bubbly and fresh fruit juice. While relaxing in our main lounge and bar area our staff will deliver your luggage to your suite. The lounge and bar lead onto our outdoor covered patio and pool with luxurious pool loungers and various tranquil sitting areas. The garden around the pool area makes a wonderful place to sit and relax with sun downers.
We also have secure off-street parking.
Just a three minute walk down the road and the heart of the bustling little town of Franschhoek is revealed, itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is otherwise renowned for its many fine restaurants and bars, plethora of intriguing local curiosity and art shops, a charming Sunday market and of course, some of the most famous wine farms in South Africa.
The Franschhoek area offers incredible outdoor recreation such as golfing, fly and trout fishing, horse riding, cycling, hiking and magnificent walks. After a day filled with sightseeing and activities, Fleur du Soleil is the perfect retreat for relaxing and watching the sunset within peaceful surroundings and luxurious rooms.
There are numerous day drives to some of the best wineries and wine estates in the world, as well as game reserves for a morning, day or afternoon safari. The Cape Peninsula, Table Mountain and many other attractions are within an hour from Fleur du Soleil.

Exceptional, unique suite with own wood fireplace and sitting area. Stunning light fittings contribute to a very romantic suite. Entrance from reception/bar/lounge area.
Bougainvilliers Suite (Premier Suite) (53m2)
Ground level suite opens onto a private little terrace garden and has its own private outside entrance from the front garden. The private, covered patio area is for your exclusive use. This is a totally self-contained suite with kitchenette.
Le Coucher Suite (Premier Suite (44m2)
Our upstairs luxury apartment suite with its own lounge and a second smaller separate bedroom with 2 single beds if travelling with children. The suite can accommodate four people. It has a large private balcony with beautiful mountain and sunset views.
Ground level suite opens onto a private little terrace garden and has its own private outside entrance from the front garden. The private, covered patio area is for your exclusive use. This is a totally self-contained suite with kitchenette.

If cancelled 30 days or less before arrival 50% deposit forfeited.
- All rates include 15% VAT unless otherwise shown.
- Deposit: 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking (a booking is only considered confirmed on receipt of deposit.)
- Late bookings: bookings made 30 days or less require full payment at the time of booking.
- “No shows” will attract 100% of booking cost for period booked and balance on account will be charged.
- Check in: 14:00 - 17:00 (late check in must be arranged).
- Check out: 08:30 - 11:00 (failure to do so will entitle Fleur du Soleil to charge for an additional night, unless otherwise agreed with Management).
- No pets allowed.
- No cheques accepted.
- It is advisable to ensure that your travel insurance covers you in case of loss, due to cancellation.
- Suites are subject to availability and Fleur du Soleil reserves the right to refuse any booking for good reason.
- Departures prior to the booked departure date will attract full payment of the quoted room(s) rate for the originally booked dates.
- Fleur du Soleil does not allow smoking in its rooms and public areas; however, smoking is permitted on the veranda and in the garden.
- Fleur du Soleil does not accept any responsibility for theft or for damage to the guest’s goods - valuables can be kept safely in the guest’s room safe.
- Guests of Fleur du Soleil can freely make use of the facilities; however the use of Fleur du Soleil’s facilities is at the guest’s own risk.
- Damage to the Fleur du Soleil building or contents thereof, caused by it’s guest(s), will be added to the guest(s) bill. (this includes damage to mattresses, bed linen, and towels).
- Visa, MasterCard, Cash and EFT are accepted.
- No booking at Fleur du Soleil will be accepted if the guest does not agree with the Terms & Conditions, mentioned above.
Responsibility: Fleur du Soleil and its staff exercise every care possible. However, we assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity in connection with our services. Guests will also be asked to settle any extras on departure.
The credit card used to make the booking needs to be present at check-in as well as the owner’s ID or Passport.
Children aged twelve and older are welcome in our Le Coucher Suite only.
