First Light Serenity

Experience serenity and breathtaking African wildlife at First Light Serenity, with views over the pristine Lake St Lucia. Located 13km east of the town of Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal, home to the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, South Africa’s oldest game reserve.

The home comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults and one child, making it perfect for families or small groups. It features 3 stylish bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and its own en-suite bathroom. The main room has a bath with a separate shower, and the other 2 rooms have a shower only.  A sleeper couch is located in a room connecting to the main room and provides additional sleeping space for 1 child. All linen and pool towels are provided, and the home is fully air-conditioned for year-round comfort. A cot can be arranged upon request.

The open-plan living area is designed for relaxation and connection, with a spacious lounge featuring comfortable seating and a large smart TV with DStv channels. The living area opens onto a spacious tiled deck with a swimming pool and a covered braai (barbecue) area with a 6-seater dining table, where you can enjoy views of Lake St Lucia. There is also a fire pit for evening gatherings and stargazing. Please note that the boma wood is included in the rate, as well as 1 bag of complimentary wood and firelighters. Additional wood can be bought from the establishment.

The fully equipped modern kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, and Nespresso machine.  A small number of complimentary coffee pods and coffee beans are provided. There is a bar fridge and ice machine for easy entertaining, and a 10-seater dining table is ideal for shared meals.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the home, which is also equipped with a complete solar electricity backup solution to ensure uninterrupted comfort for guests.

Guests can enjoy daily cleaning services Monday to Friday, with weekend cleaning available on request at a cost. The property offers secure off-road parking for up to three vehicles and is a convenient single-storey home. For added peace of mind, management resides on the neighbouring property and is readily available to assist guests.
