Nestled against the magnificent Waterberg hills, Fevertree Lodge offers a unique African escape where history, culture and nature come together. Located in the Mokaikai Private Nature Reserve in Bela-Bela, Limpopo Province, South Africa, approximately two hours from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, Fevertree Lodge celebrates the African pioneer while incorporating elements of South Africa’s rich culture and history. Guests can relax beside the pool with a cocktail as the sun sets over the surrounding landscape or gather around the traditional boma, inspired by an African tribal kraal, to enjoy a barbecue beneath the African sky. The lodge offers three spacious 65-square-metre feature chalets, each individually themed around the African pioneer concept. Themes range from British colonial influence and the Great Trek to the Masai people of Kenya and Northern Tanzania. All chalets are en-suite with both a shower and bath, and feature a wooden terrace overlooking a landscaped rock garden surrounded by 170 fever trees. The four-sleeper chalet has a king bed and a sofa bed suitable for two children, while the two-sleeper chalets offer either a king or twin beds. All three chalets can also be booked together at a discounted rate, making them ideal for families or small groups travelling together. Situated within the malaria-free Mokaikai Private Nature Reserve, Fevertree Lodge overlooks wide-open plains and approximately 12,000 hectares of lush, mountainous vegetation. The tranquil setting offers guests an opportunity to experience the beauty, wildlife, Big Five and magic of the African bush in a truly memorable destination.

Fevertree Lodge is situated in the Waterberg region of Limpopo Province, South Africa, nestled within the malaria-free Big Five Mokaikai Private Nature Reserve. The lodge overlooks approximately 12,000 hectares of open, green mountainous vegetation, offering guests a peaceful bushveld setting surrounded by natural beauty and expansive landscapes. The lodge is approximately a two-hour drive from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, making it conveniently accessible for travellers. The Waterberg area is renowned for its scenic mountains, wildlife and tranquil bushveld surroundings, providing an ideal setting for guests seeking a relaxing escape into nature.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total.
If cancelling 999 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the booking total.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
* We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of cancellations or other situations where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.
* The cardholder & ID/Passport must be present at check-in.
* The credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in
* 25% deposit on booking (to confirm your reservation).
* Remaining 75% due 30 days before arrival.
* Bookings made within 30 days of arrival require full payment upon confirmation
All cancellations should please be made in writing.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all guests. Your insurance should specifically cover cancellation fees, as well as illness, medical emergencies, flight cancellations or delays and other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from travelling.
