Eikelaan farm offers three self catering cottages, just 10 minutes away from the historic village of Tulbagh and conveniently located for discovering local attractions and activities in the surrounding Witzenberg area.
Each cottage, fully equipped for your self catering stay, is spotlessly clean. The spacious accommodation is popular with wedding guests, families and couples looking for a romantic getaway.
The cottages have indoor fireplaces for cosy winter evenings and air-conditioning for the Cape summers.
Farm guests are welcome to enjoy walks through the fynbos, observe the birdlife, delight in amazing sunsets across the Tulbagh Valley and indulge in some star-gazing is highly recommended.
Accommodation at Eikelaan Farm Cottages:
Witzenberg Cottage
Situated in a beautiful garden with magnificent mountain views. This cottage is 80 sq meter in size with a king size bed with a feather down duvet. Full bathroom with both shower and bath. The lounge/dining room has an indoor log-burning fire place and is fitted with a television and a double sleeper couch which serves as extra sleeping accommodation. The kitchen is fully equipped with a four plate stove, oven and warming drawer, a fridge with freezing compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery. An added feature is the air conditioner and ceiling fans. Double doors open onto a large patio with braai area where one can enjoy magnificent sunsets and sun downers in the evenings.
Obiqua Cottage
This cottage is exactly the same as the Witzenberg Cottage. The bedroom has a king size bed but on request we can replace it with two three quarter beds.
Winterhoek Cottage
The cottage has two bedrooms an en suite bathroom and a second bathroom. The lounge/dining room has an indoor fire place and a television. Two bunk beds are situated in the lounge which serves as extra sleeping accommodation. The kitchen is fitted with all the basic amenities as mentioned in the one bedroom cottages. A sliding door opens on the a patio with a built in braai. Here one can enjoy sun downers while experiencing magnificent sunsets.

The farm lends itself to walks through the fynbos, bird watching, stargazing. Children and adults are welcome to bring their own bikes to cycle on the farm. Children love the experience of feeding the ducks and chickens and fetching the eggs at night. The pool is a great attraction in summer and table tennis and darts can be played at the lapa.
