Duikersdrift Winelands Country Escape is a working boutique wine and olive farm situated in the heart of Tulbagh’s Valley of Abundance. Located just 90 minutes from Cape Town, the farm is an idyllic setting in which to experience a romantic getaway or family vacation.
The luxury bed and breakfast cottages showcase interiors that reflect a blend of rustic charm and modern sophistication, perfectly complimenting the old-world beauty of Tulbagh. Each cottage offers majestic mountain views and features a refreshment station, smart TV, complimentary Wi-Fi and an open-plan en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and large bathtub. Air conditioning, a remote-controlled fan, and a cosy indoor fireplace ensure total comfort in hot summers and cold winters.
A battery backup system ensures our cottages and restaurant have light during load shedding and unexpected power outages.
Outside, a private patio with a barbeque facility provides a relaxing vantage point from which to enjoy the sunset over the mountains, take in the sounds of the prolific birdlife, or gaze at the canopy of stars. Guest staying in our Couples Cottages can unwind in a new wood-fired hot tub which can be heated or enjoyed as a splash pool.
Duikersdrift Winelands Country Escape also offers a secluded guest pool area with pergolas and pool loungers, a country-style restaurant serving hearty farm-fresh meals, and a children’s playground. An array of activities can be enjoyed on-site or in the surrounding area, including picnics, wine tasting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and more.

BEER TASTINGProudly homegrown, Buchanan’s has a distinct heritage as the only Craft Brewery in the upper Tulbagh Valley. The Brewery itself is not open to the public but the unique range of beers are available and can be sampled alone or paired with artisinal chocolates, cheeses or a selection of tasting platters.
WINE TASTINGDuikersdrift is a very small producer of fine hand-crafted wines. The gently undulating terrain of the farm with its ancient alluvial sandstone boulder beds and well-drained, Oakleaf and Fernwood soils are ideal for the production of wines of exceptional quality.

DUIKERSDRIFT PARKRUNEvery Saturday morning at 8am, take part in the free 5 km trail across. duikersdrift for one of the most scenically spectacular Parkruns in the country. Your time will be recorded but the trail can be run or walked at whatever pace suits. All ages welcome.
PICNICSPicnics are available from the Obiqua Café Restaurant and are ideal for taking along on any of the activities (regrettably we cannot offer picnics before 11am on Saturdays). They can be enjoyed at any number of picnic benches on the farm or on a blanket on the lawn or along the farm pathways and trails.

* Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a 50% deposit payment.
* Outstanding balances must be paid one week (7 days) prior to arrival.

* The reference related to your reservation payment will reflect Paybridge Accommodation and not Duikersdrift.
* “No-shows” will not be refunded.
* No refund is available for early departures.
* Postponement may be requested but is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.
House Rules:
* Check-in is from 14h00 to 18h00. Late check-in by prior arrangement only
* Check-out is at 10h00. Late check-out is subject to availability and by prior arrangement only.
* Our cottages are not self-catering. Meal baskets are available to order for in-room dining, or guests may dine at the on-site restaurant.
* Do not leave fires or cigarettes unattended. Fires are to be extinguished with water before going to bed, and cigarettes properly extinguished in the ashtrays provided.
* No smoking is permitted in the cottages.
* We regret no pets are allowed.
* No litter, including cigarette butts, may be left anywhere on the farm.
* No loud noise or loud music is permitted.
* No day visitors are permitted.
* The use of open flame, such as candles, in the cottages is strictly prohibited.
* We reserve the right to invoice you for any damage or breakages which we consider to be deliberately or recklessly caused, missing items, and/or the cost of the cottage for any period in which the room is deemed unusable due to damage.
Children aged between 0 and 2 stay free.
Children aged between 3 and 12 pay 100% of the sliding scale rate.
