The restaurant`s focus is on bold flavours, celebrating classic, uncomplicated dishes and fresh, clean tastes - best described as a concept of food that is essentially simple, but where flavour always comes first.
Flavours Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week and a menu with a variety of dishes which can be paired with our award winning wine list to make any meal extraordinary. The lunch menu consists of light lunch menu items as well as specials which are changed on a daily basis to ensure variety.
Vineyard Terrace:
The Terrace overlooks the SylvanVale Vineyards with breathtaking views of the mountains and Stellenbosch Winelands. A full Bar and Seasonal al fresco Menu is also available. It seats 60 people and is open seven days a week between 11:00 and 19:00, weather permitting.
Cedarwood Lounge & Bar:
Our cosy and tastefully decorated lounge and bar, with fireplace, offers one of the most comprehensive collections of Single Malt Whiskeys in the country. Light meals are served daily. The bar is open from 11:00 - 23:00, seven days a week.
SylvanVale Wine Tastings:
The Devon Valley Hotel is surrounded by its working vineyard. Taste our award winning SylvanVale Wines in the Cedarwood Lounge and Bar or on the Vineyard Terrace. SylvanVale Wine Tasting takes place daily from 10h00 until 20h00.
Conferences:
Devon Valley Hotel is a tranquil country setting with gorgeous views over its own vineyards. There are six conference venues which are flooded with natural light, are air-conditioned and are configurable to almost any seating requirement, comfortably catering for up to 90 guests.
Classic Rooms:
The Classic Rooms are situated in the historic Cedarwood building and has been tastefully refurbished to reflect the contemporary colonial feel of the hotel. The valley facing rooms each have their own private decks and the north facing rooms open into private courtyards with wonderful views of the vineyards or olive groves.

Directions from the airport via the N2:
- From the airport, take the N2 in the direction of Somerset West.
- Take exit number 33 off the N2 (Baden Powell Drive & Stellenbosch)
- Continue along the R310 for approximately 10kms in the direction of Stellenbosch, passing by Spier Wine Estate on your right.
- You will reach a T-junction. Neethlingshof Wine Estate's tall water fountain can be seen to your left. Turn right onto the R306 / M12 in the direction of Stellenbosch.
- Continue along for another 1 km and you will pass the Cape Saw Mills on your left-hand side.
- Turn left into the Devon Valley Road, immediately after you've passed the Cape Saw Mills. You will pass a small industrial area on your left.
- Continue on for about 6 kms on the Devon Valley Road and you will reach the hotel's main entrance, on your right.
