Situated on prime land in the Dinokeng free roaming big 5 game reserve, De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge
borders the Pienaars River on the one side and the tar road to Rust de Winter dam on the other. The Lodge offers 4 self catering chalets as well as arranged game drives.
What makes De Kleine Serengeti so special is a lovely dam with hundreds of ducks and beyond that a grass plain where game can be seen for most of the day without leaving the comfort of the lodge.
From here you can view Eland, Buffalo, Kudu, Ostrich, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest and many more game and birds species.
Game drives are available for those in search of the more elusive animals such as leopard, lion and cheetah. Self-drive is also available.

De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge together with other game farms are part of the larger Dinokeng Game Reserve.
Situated only 45 km north of Pretoria, bordering the N1. The reserve has a wide variety of bird life, the big 5 and other animals.
The area is malaria free.
Accommodation at De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge:
Each chalet comprises a well-equipped kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. All chalets have undercover patios with a built-in braai.
The chalets also feature seating areas with televisions and selected DStv channels. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet.

Our game viewing drives are available through out the day, pre=bookings essential. Drives takes about 2 hours with snacks and beverages being supplied You’ll be guided by our certified game ranger who’ll take you and your party through the reserve, encountering many animals along the way.

Health & Climate:
The Dinokeng Game Reserve area experiences summer rainfall patterns in the form of thunder storms which can be variable and erratic. Rainfall varies from 350 mm to 750 mm per season. Temperatures vary between 0° and 40° with a long term daily average of 21°.
The Horseback Africa private game reserve and lodge is the closest 'far away' place as it is situated a mere 95 km from the heart of Sandton in Johannesburg and only 75 km from the OR Tambo International airport.
