In the tranquil African bushveld we offer an unique African ambience with the experience of mystical Africa. Zebra, Wildebeast, Impala, Blessbuck, Springbuck and our Giraffe family (with a baby) roam freely around the hotel grounds.
The attractive Hotel Complex and Conference Centre consist of thatched stone buildings that are surrounded by beautifully landscaped lawns. Enjoy free wi-fi throughout the complex and ample safe parking.
The Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge Restaurant is a picturesque venue for superb dining with large windows that overlook the swimming pool and Lake Heritage. Our Zebras use the swimming pool as their watering hole to the delight of the restaurant guests. Open Daily for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
For a good nights sleep enjoy the comfort in one of our two bed-roomed thatched bungalows; all with en-suite bathroom and a lovely balcony.
Enjoy a sundowner whilst watching Zebras and our family of Giraffes which roam around the hotel area. Spending a weekend is a perfect escape from tension and the concrete jungles of Johannesburg and Pretoria.

No food or beverages is allowed to be brought onto our property-Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge have a fully licensed restaurant with an A la carte menu. Guests may charge extras to the room and settle on departure
There is no access with your vehicle to the bungalows.

In the main building find a fully licensed restaurant as well as an unusual African styled bar.
The pool area - visited by Zebra drinking water from the pool - is ideal for your afternoon tea or your sundowner.
Recreation facilities include outdoor swimming pool, table tennis, soccer table, badminton, volley ball, full size snooker table, chess table.

Lake Heritage, which is contained by one of the largest hand build stone dams in South Africa, is a great place for bird watching, fishing, open water swimming and canoeing.
For bird lovers 176 species have been recorded.
We offer guided Game drives in open land-rovers. Bookings essential.
Every Sunday a traditional South African Barbecue lunch is served around the pool area.

Each Bungalow has a tea and coffee station. The en suite bathroom offers both bath and shower facilities. Heaters in the bathroom and bedroom help to keep the cold at bay. Each bungalow has a veranda on which guests can enjoy their sundowners while watching a glorious African sunset. Limited WiFi is available, We do not have TV’s in our Bungalows, but you are welcome to join us in our TV Lounge.
The Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge requires a full pre payment not less than 6 (six) weeks prior to the anticipated date of arrival.
- 60 (sixty) days up to and inclusive prior to dates of arrival 50% (fifty percent) cancellation fees will be charged.
- 30 (thirty) days up to and inclusive prior to the date of arrival 100% (one hundred percent) cancellation fees will be charged.
Transfers to and from Johannesburg International Airport can be arranged.
