CocoMo Boutique Coastal Garden Studio is a private, open-plan boutique studio spanning 50 m², thoughtfully designed for relaxed coastal living.
The studio features a luxurious king-size bed dressed in crisp 100% cotton linen, alongside a compact yet beautifully designed living, dining and well-equipped kitchenette area. The kitchenette includes a bar fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee and tea facilities, kitchen supplies and a four-plate gas hob. A dining table with chairs and a comfortable sitting area provide inviting spaces to enjoy meals and relax.
A smart TV with streaming services and Wi-Fi are also available. A spacious separate bathroom with clean, modern finishes features an open shower, oversized basin, bathroom amenities, a hairdryer and towels. French doors open from the lounge onto a private tropical garden, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.
Outside, guests can enjoy their own private tropical courtyard with a plunge pool, sun loungers, fire pit, built-in BBQ/braai and a unique outdoor tree shower beneath the palms. Outdoor furniture and an outdoor braai and firepit area provide the perfect setting for enjoying the peaceful garden surroundings.
Watch beautiful bird life from the sun loungers and fall asleep to the sound of distant waves at night. Calm, considered and intentionally designed for slow stays, weekend escapes and quiet coastal resets.
Note: Although connected to the main home, CocoMo is fully private, with its own entrance and secure on-site parking. Guests have dedicated parking on the property, with access to the studio via a short staircase from the parking area. Guests have exclusive use of the studio and private tropical garden. The property is equipped for load shedding, with backup lighting and a UPS to keep the Wi-Fi running during power outages. A friendly Ridgeback dog lives on the property but does not have access to the guest space. For extended stays, occasional garden or pool maintenance may take place.
CocoMo is situated in Salt Rock, a peaceful seaside village on KwaZulu-Natal’s North Coast. - If cancelling 5 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
* We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation or situation where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.
* The cardholder & ID/Passport must be present at check-in.
* The credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in.
* Same-day bookings: Bank transfers are not accepted. Payment must be made upon arrival at the property.
* Optional cleaning during your stay is available at an additional fee of R450 and must be arranged in advance.
* The property offers self-check-in via a lockbox. The owner will contact guests on the day of arrival to provide the check-in instructions.
* A small bag of firewood is provided for the fire pit. Additional firewood is available at an extra charge of R100 per bag. Please contact the owner if more is required.
* A small bag of charcoal is provided for the BBQ/braai. Additional charcoal is available at an extra charge of R100 per bag. Please contact the owner if more is required.
* Meals are available at an additional charge and must be arranged with the property in advance.
* Unfortunately, we do not take children at the property.
