The owners of Christiana Lodge are passionate about Plettenberg Bay and have first-hand experience of the activities in the area. Their top priority is to ensure an experience their guests will always treasure.
Christiana Lodge is an architect designed lodge in the exclusive area of Solar Beach, between Robberg Beach and the Brakkloof Wetland. Robberg Beach is a 5 minute walk away and the distance to town is only 4,5 km.
The use of space in the rest of the lodge makes for a variety of living areas where guests can kick back: the covered patio adjacent to the lounge, the pool deck, the large, elevated open verandah on the western side or the patio on the northern face - all ideal for a breather after the beach.
To make the most of the spectacular sunsets and intense golden afternoon light that bathes Plettenberg Bay, the Lodge is west facing. The overall effect is of nature - lots of light, sun, warmth and open air, with interior colours and effects that blend into the environment.
The owners intimate knowledge of the area will ensure that guests have a true Plettenberg Bay experience golf, hiking, canoeing, whale watching, bungi jumping, mountain biking, tree top canopy tours and more, all within easy reach from Plett, the heart of the Garden Route.
Solar Beach is a select area of Plettenberg Bay between Robberg Beach - a 4,5 km white sandy beach -and the Brakkloof Wetland. Christiana Lodge is within walking distance from the Robberg Nature Reserve and a short 5-min walk from Robberg Beach. This is not for those who want to be near the shops or in suburbia. We are 4,5 km from the centre of town.

If relaxing in the sun is your aim, Plett is built on its reputation as a place to 'turn off and drop out'. Plett has the best beaches in the world! Kilometres of unspoiled golden sands beckon almost on your doorstep at Robberg, Main beaches and further afield at Keurbooms.
The famous Lookout beach was washed away two years ago, but is creeping back and can be accessed from the Milkwood Manor Hotel parking lot opposite The Lookout Deck restaurant.
A 50% deposit is required to secure booking. No reservation will be made without a deposit. A credit card number is required upon confirming a reservation.

We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation or situation where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.
Take the Piesange Valley Road entrance into Plettenberg Bay. Turn right at the first traffic circle, drive past Kwik Spar and turn right in Longships Drive.
Turn left into Griz Nez Road after about 1 km. Follow Griz Nez; where it becomes a dirt road, turn left. Christiana Lodge is the second building on the left hand side.
