Casa Mia
Casa Mia Guesthouse situated in the Bloubergstrand area, is an executive Tuscan styled villa with B&B and self-catering suites. We are approximately 5km to the beach.

Casa Mia is situated on the banks of the Rietvlei Nature Reserve. Here you will find flamingos, pelicans, herons, fish eagles, birds of prey and 150 other bird species frequenting our back yard.

The rooms facing the reserve offers an awesome uninterrupted view of Table Mountain.

Timeless elegance and warm hospitality is part and parcel of Casa Mia Guesthouse. A home-away-from-home for the business traveler or peaceful retreat for the holidaymaker.

Except for being a Bed and Breakfast, all our rooms, with the exception of the Presidential, are also semi self-catering with a microwave oven, fridge, 2-plate hob (without an oven) and the usual kitchen utensils.

Presidential suite (sleeps 2)
The Presidential Suite features enormous glass sliding doors opening up onto a balcony with an awesome view of Table Mountain. It has a King sized bed, flat screen TV, air conditioning, separate dressing room and a large full bathroom with shower and bath. There are coffee and tea facilities in the room.

Standard suite (sleeps 2)
Our Standard Suites are like 38sqm open plan hotel rooms. It is practical, well furnished each with its own en-suite shower room, dining area and kitchenette. There are Queen sized Sleigh beds in all the suites.

Executive family suite (sleeps 4)
The Executive Family Suite is a large 70sqm apartment with a Queen sized extra length sleigh bed in the main bedroom with a full bathroom. It has a separate open plan lounge, kitchenette and dining area. The kitchen has a microwave oven, electric frying pan and the usual kitchen utensils for 4 people. This room can sleep 3 adults and 1 child or 2 adults + 2 children under 12. There is a bunk bed in the alcove (inside the bedroom) - which can be split into 2 x single beds, moving one bed to the lounge area.

Executive suite (Sleeps 3)
The Executive Suite is a large 70sqm apartment with a Queen sized Sleigh bed in the main bedroom with a full bathroom. There is a separate lounge/dining room/kitchenette area. The kitchen has a microwave oven, electric frying pan and the usual kitchen utensils for 4 people. There is a single bed in the lounge area and therefore this suite sleeps 3 adults.

Casa Mia Activities:

We have a swimming pool on site and the beach is approximately 5km away.
At the beach you will be able to surf and do kite surfing or kayaking.
There are also many popular restaurants all along the beach front.
The CTICC and Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is a 30 minute drive away.
From here you will be able to take a Topless Red Bus and explore Cape Town
without the stress of the traffic. Or you can take the cable car to the
top of Table Mountain.
Less than 10km away is the Durbanville Hills Wine Route where you can
explore the vineyards and do a bit of wine tasting, homemade cheese, olives
and fresh warm bread.

Health & Climate:

Our Summer days are long and very hot so you will require protection from the
sun like sunscreen and even a hat.
Our Winters are mild and mostly rainy so bring along your rain coat - alternatively
you can buy one at the travel section of any of our bigger stores.
