Casa d’Italo offers guests relaxing self-catering load shedding free accommodation in a tranquil paradise surrounded by a private fynbos nature reserve enjoying a partial ocean view where guests can explore the hiking trails, watch the sunset from the deck with a glass of wine, or simply relax.
Guests can book the multi-storey 10-sleeper holiday home or the cosy 4-sleeper bungalow. The spacious home offers 5 bedrooms furnished with king-size and twin beds the use of bathrooms with baths and showers. The modern, open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, and fridge and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table.
Guests can relax in the sunny living room which boasts a wide selection of books and board games and a TV with selected DStv. T he living area opens onto an enclosed entertainment area with a built-in braai, dining area, table tennis and darts and Wi-Fi is available. Perfect for 4, the bungalow which comprises 2 joint bungalows, is a semi-detached dwelling with a private separate entrance. The rooms are furnished with king-size or twin beds and make use of full bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. The bungalow has comfortable seating and Wi-Fi access, opening onto an outdoor braai area with a picnic bench.
The property is primarily powered by solar energy, but in the event that there is not enough power, a generator can be used to top up the batteries. However, please note that the generator will only be run during the day to minimize noise and environmental impact.
The water on our property comes from a borehole and rainwater.

* Please note, quiet hours are observed between 22h00 and 07h00.
Access to the property is controlled and operated via cell phone operation. The gate will be opened and closed at all times for you by management.
* Housekeeping is available at an additional fee. Please make arrangements prior to check-in.
* Well-behaved pets are welcome with prior arrangements.
* Owners need to please clean up after their pets.
* Pets may not be left alone in the unit or on the property. No pets are allowed on furniture or sleeping in/on the beds and owners need to bring their own bedding and feeding bowls and food.
* Please note, the owners have pet(s) on the premises.
* Towels are intended for bathroom use only and guests need to bring their own swimming towels.
* Please report any accidents or damages.
* The area is a nature reserve and fynbos conservancy with moles, snakes, mice and the odd honey badger.
* Guests are encouraged to wear suitable shoes when hiking on the reserve.
* There is a water reservoir approximately 50 meters from the house which has a wall around it of 1.5 m high.
