Jabulani Safari, proud member of the Relais & Chateaux Association, situated on Kapama Big 5 Private Game Reserve, was conceptualized to sustain twelve orphaned and abandoned elephants. The intimate environment is designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding bush. The wooden deck which lies in the shade of gigantic leadwood tree and the impressive hanging bridge connects the living areas with the suites. The Camp has only 6 suites - never more than 12 guests, whilst the exclusive Zindoga Villa is suited to the family traveller, or the client who prefers the more exclusive experience.
Accommodation at Jabulani Safari:
Jabulani Safari has 6 ultra-luxurious air-conditioned suites with en-suite facilities. The large open plan suites have a lounge area with a fireplace, free-standing stone bath, double vanity and glass enclosed shower. Each suite features hot beverage facilities, a mini bar fridge, and a private plunge pool and wooden deck overlooking a dry riverbed. A laundry and butler service is included as well as all meals, snacks, beverages and locally branded alcohol drinks, daily elephant excursions and game drives.
Each of the six luxury suites is remote and private. Massive wooden sliding doors present interiors which are a pure translation of style, comfort, elegance and overall - an appreciation of the natural environment. Pure cotton sheets, massive stone tubs, an outdoor glass-enclosed shower, a fireplace with a separate lounge area, and a private plunge pool complement each of the rooms. Suites are also equipped with a mini-bar, safe, hairdryer and electric blankets. Comfort is ensured by the 24 hour temperature control and overhead ceiling fan. Expansive windows allow for uninterrupted sunshine, and views of the surrounding bush. In the evenings, cozy lighting, a blazing fire and a welcoming bed draw to a perfect close another day in Africa.
A completely self-contained facility, the Zindoga Villa is a palatial replica of Jabulani style and elemental premise. Two individual suites are connected by a joint lounge and dining area. Each unit has a massive bedroom with bathroom en-suite (including glass enclosed shower), expansive wooden deck, and a private heated plunge pool. One of the suites also has a charming twin room, with private bathroom, for two children sharing and can accommodate children of all ages. The suites are separated by an interleading door. The Zindoga Villa has wireless internet connectivity throughout for those who need to be connected to business or home, and is serviced by its own dedicated team - including ranger (and private vehicle), chef and butler.
Elegance, grand open spaces, luxurious finishes, and a harmonious union with the African wild are the order of the day.
