Bona Bona Game Lodge offers an unique four star lodge experience in the fauna and flora rich Northwest Province in South Africa. This privately owned, luxurious lodge is nestled along the N12 Treasure Route and offers its guests an unforgettable experience through their tailored Bona Bona Game Lodge hospitality in true African comfort. When fully booked the lodge can accommodate 119 guests in-house.

Guest can enjoy mouth-watering cuisine next to the homely fireplace on cold winter nights. Bona Bona Game Lodge offer a wide range of activities for business travelers as well as families seeking a well deserved break, not too far from home. The predator park, game drives and encounters with rare species such as sable, rhino and buffalo will make your stay at Bona Bona Game Lodge an unforgettable experience.

Bona Bona Game Lodge Accommodation
Main Camp
The Main Camp offers 4 Executive rooms, 6 Standard double rooms, 3 Family rooms and a romantic Honeymoon Suite. Bona Bona Game Lodge offers affordable accommodation in luxury style. The Lodge was recently refurbished, and rooms were upgraded as well as general facilities.

All the executive rooms, standard double rooms and the honeymoon suite have televisions. Main camp room 1 is equipped for our paraplegic guests. Please inform the reception so that they can allocate guests with this requirement to this room. The lodge has a swimming pool and play area where children can play and cool down after a day filled with activities. (Swimming pool is only for the use of in-house guests). Changing rooms are provided within close proximity to the pool.

The Honeymoon suite is decorated and designed to provide a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. It has its own private exit from the spa, a private dressing room and a fully equipped mini hair salon (to be used on wedding days). Brides from across the world have complimented Bona Bona Game Lodge on this unique set-up.

Safari House
The Safari House offers an intimate lounge and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. There are 3 rooms and a loft area. Main bedroom is en-suite with a king size bed. Room 2 has a queen size bed and a ¾ bed. The bathroom is not en-suite. Room 3 is en-suite (shower and toilet only) with a queen size and a ¾ bed. The loft is located above the lounge area and has 2 x ¾ beds. Separate bathroom has both a bath and a shower.

Come and enjoy the homely atmosphere this house has to offer, entertain your guests at the warm fireplace in winter or unwind in the boma where millions of stars light the African skies. The Safari house offers a small splash pool where guests can cool down during hot summer months.

Rooms are fully air-conditioned and is within walking distance from the main lodge for guests that would like to dine at the Jakkals restaurant. Ice and wood can be bought from reception.

Stables
These bed and breakfast units are 200 meters away from the Main Camp where guests can enjoy all the facilities of the main camp. Including the swimming pool and restaurant.

Perfect for conferences or big group bookings. 5 rooms are made up with king size beds and the other 5 rooms are twin with 2 x single beds. These rooms DO NOT have televisions or bar fridges.

Big 5 Homestead
The Big Five homestead is located just across the road from the main lodge entrance – approximately 300m from the reception. There are 5 rooms with the same décor and feel of our main lodge.

All rooms at the Big Five have televisions. There are 3 executive rooms and 2 family rooms. All are fully air-conditioned and en-suite. The restaurant is just a short walk away and the lion’s roar will wake you up in the morning!

Bush Camp
Note to access the camp you will require a 4 x 4 SVU or vehicle suitable for rough gravel terrain.

The camp sleeps up to 16 pax with loose-standing chalets sharing a centralised braai area and dining facilities including the luxury of DSTV and WIFI for your convenience. This beautiful jewel has 8 en suite chalets with two units offering bath and shower facilities. Each chalet has its own bar fridge and coffee station while the well-equipped centralised kitchen and entertainment area are situated close by. To book the camp it will be required from you to take a minimum of 4 chalets.

Jakkals Restaurant:
Our Jakkals Restaurant is renowned for its mouth-watering cuisine, quality, well-portioned meals. Visit and enjoy a meal while relaxing, overlooking the majestic views of the water hole and untamed African bush. Snuggle up next to our fireplace with a glass of wine from our carefully selected collection or enjoy a cocktail on our deck while watching rhino and plains game at the waterhole, Bona Bona Game Lodge will provide that “once in a lifetime experience” feeling.

We offer a delicious buffet breakfast or an A la Carte menu for lunch or dinner. Our barista will spoil you with a well-made coffee – roasted locally.

We are open to in-house guests as well as the public and cater for private functions such as year-end functions, farewells, birthday parties and baby showers. Our Jakkals Restaurant is open daily from 7h00 to 21h00. Bookings are not required. The restaurant can comfortably seat 70 guests inside and 60 guests outside on the deck.

Veldhaven Spa:
Bona Bona Game Lodge offers a serene experience at Veldhaven spa in North West, South Africa. Throughout our treatments, we aim to rejuvenate and indulge our guests in complete relaxation and offer them a calming & serene wellness experience.

Conference and Wedding Facilities:
We love weddings, and our dedicated team is here to help you create a memory that will forever remain special. In addition to a chapel and reception venue, we offer full catering facilities and pride ourselves in the quality of our cuisine.  We are fully licensed and offer excellent bar facilities and well trained waitrons. Our dazzling spa and game drives are ideal to put the final touch to your most romantic experience. The rustic wilderness atmosphere is the perfect setting for unforgettable photos and videos.

We offer an unique conferencing facility and activities to make every work retreat or company getaway an unique experience. We offer free Wi-Fi, big screens for presentations, a fully equipped conference room, breakaway rooms as well as an open air breakaway facility. The venue was built to overlook the untamed African bush and allows candidates to inhale clean fresh air while coming up with innovative strategies.

Establishment Facilities:
All camps have full access to all our services in the main camp: Game drives, a la carte restaurant, predator walks and visits to Ruah’s Factory. Bona Bona has an African massage parlour, and specializes in hand, feet, head, neck and back, or full body massages. We can put together packages that will suit your specific needs. Our a la carte restaurant offers a menu to satisfy all your taste buds! Come and let our Chef prepare a feast fit for a king. Relax with a sundowner in our lounge and enjoy the delicacies from our African Menu. The restaurant, bar, lounge and deck overlook the waterhole where Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra, Roan and Sable gather. The Bona Bona Wedding: At Bona Bona we have the perfect venue to offer, and can seat up to 250 guests. We have a chapel which has been built with comfort, ambience and romance in mind. Bona Bona offers the bride true peace of mind and assurance that her biggest day will be a day filled with love, laughter and professionalism. To ensure that her wedding is without any hiccups, we offer a Wedding Consultant to assist her in ensuring that it is a day to remember. Productive Conferencing: Our Eland Conferencing Facility can seat up to 40 delegates, and our Rhino hall can seat up to 250 delegates. We can arrange a package that will suit your company’s needs. We have a Projector and White screen available. For Baptisms, Birthday Parties or Get-togethers we have two Lapa’s on offer.
