Nestled between the majestic Drakensberg Mountains and the sparkling clear waters of the Blyde River, Blyde River Canyon Lodge offers local and international travellers a unique bush experience.
The Lodge is set in an 85 hectare Botanical Reserve which boasts a wealth of fauna and flora. Not only is the Blyde River Canyon Lodge a unique holiday experience, but is also “home away from home” for many astute and professional business people.
Blyde River Canyon Lodge is situated along the scenic Panorama Route in the Blyde River Canyon of the Mpumalanga/Limpopo Province. It is easily accessible to the Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Three Rondawels, God’s Window and various waterfalls.
The lodge is just a 40-minute drive to the Kruger National Park - Orpen Gate.
The Lodge is also rated 4-Star Superior by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa – excellent comfort and quality with a high standard of furnishings, service and guest care.
Our stylish en-suite rooms and one luxury cottage all lead out onto lush tranquil gardens and include satellite television, air conditioning and tea trays.
A full buffet breakfast is served daily on the beautiful outside deck whilst watching the zebra and wildebeest wander by.
Delicious lunches and dinners may be arranged and enjoyed under the African sky or by firelight on those winter nights in our warm and inviting dining room.
Accommodation comprises five (5) double/twin rooms and one (1) Honeymoon Suite. All rooms are tastefully furnished, have en-suite bathrooms, and are fully air-conditioned and equipped with satellite TV as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
There is also a two bedroom, two bathroom luxury cottage set aside from the main lodge which offers a lovely living area.
Both the cottage and the luxury rooms lead out onto the tranquil gardens.
