Beverley Country Cottages are situated in the beautiful valley of Dargle, on the Midlands Meander, looking down on the Umgeni River over looked by the handsome NHlosane Mountain. Dargle is an area South West of the N3 and is accessed from Lions River off the R103.
Beverley Farm is situated on a hilltop with magnificent views of the rolling midlands all around, surrounded by lush lawns, paddocks, azalea bushes, Rhododendrons, Yellow woods and 2 magnificent old Oak trees. We are ideal for a romantic country getaway in very peaceful surroundings.
Accommodation at Beverley Country Cottages:
We offer 3 star accommodation with 4 star services. It consists of the old Stables (sleeps 6 in 3 en-suite bedrooms), Hayloft (sleeps 2 with an en-suite bathroom), Dairy (sleeps 4 in 2 en-suite bedrooms) and the double story Thatched House (sleeps 6 in 3 en-suite bedrooms) which have been lovingly converted and renovated into beautiful self catering cottages, completely self contained.
In the original stone homestead, built in 1913, there are an additional two large rooms with oregan floors and ceilings, which are offered on a bed and breakfast basis only. Enjoy the splendour of these elegant rooms, while relaxing in the grand Victorian baths or the comfortable sleigh, or four-poster beds. They each have their own separate entrances off a shared veranda.
The cottages are self catering but Breakfasts and Dinners are available on request in the comfort of your cottage.
All cottages have a colour televsion, a selection of Satellite channels and M Net. Each cottage has a verandah and an area to braai with the wood or gas braais that are provided. Wood is also provided. The kitchens are superbly set up for Self catering, with a microwave and a conventional oven in every cottage. A dining area, with table and chairs is present. Cottages are serviced daily.
All bedrooms are en-suite and have a bath and a shower. The beds are equipped with electric blankets and extra warm blankets to keep you snug at night, on those wintry evenings. Bed linen and bath towels are provided.
Every cottage has access to a wireless internet service. A password is required. Please enquire on check in.
