Betty’s Bay Cottage is flooded with natural light and offers a spacious open plan layout, providing a welcoming and refreshing atmosphere. With ample windows and a thoughtfully designed interior, you’ll experience a sense of airiness and comfort.
The house features three comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, making it a great space for a family or group of friends. It is suitable for 6 adults and 1 child. One of our bedrooms is a spacious family room with indoor braai. This room has 2 beds and outside shower and leads onto a patio, ensuring everyone has their own space to relax and rest. Fuel efficient wood burners in the tow main bedrooms and lounge.
The living areas are perfect for quality time with your loved ones. Whether you’re just chilling, playing board games, or simply sharing stories, our home is designed to create beautiful memories.
Large roof deck with sea views - ideal for morning coffee or a sundowner. Clever design means the property is enclosed by natural vegetation which created a boundary for pets.
While it’s basic, you’ll find most necessities in the kitchen, ensuring you have the convenience of home-cooked meals during your stay. Please note that there is no dishwasher, so you’ll get to enjoy some quality time together while doing the dishes.

High season: December min 10 night stay
Mid-Season: Easter Weekend, min 3-4 nights stay

Housekeeping General cleaning fee = R690. The once-off cleaning fees are not included into the daily rate of the cottage and compulsory to be paid by the guest.
A refundable breakage deposit of R1000 and an additional pet deposit of R1000 - this can be settled via EFT to our bank account. Bank details will be provided once your booking has been confirmed.

cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival - 25% forfeited for admin
- If cancelled within
30 days of arrival - 100% forfeited

1. Payment of the Deposit, shall be deemed to be acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and secures the reservation.
2. Upon arrival at the Property, the Guest and his Invitees are requested to take careful note of the Special Instructions. The Guest is at all times during the Rental Period responsible for his Invitees and shall ensure that the Property is used with due consideration, care and respect and in compliance with any rules and/or guidelines as set out in the Special Instructions.
3. The maximum occupancy of each house is the specified number of guests at all times.
4. Refundable breakage deposit of R1000 and an additional pet deposit of R1000 (if you bring your pets) - this should be settled via EFT to our bank account. Bank details will be provided once your booking has been confirmed.
5. The Guest and his invitees shall occupy and/or visit the Property at their own risk. The Owner shall not be held liable for personal injury or death of the Guest including his Invitees or any loss/theft/damages to the property of the Guest or his Invitees that may occur during the Guest’s stay on, or about the Property, howsoever arising. The Guest hereby indemnifies the Owner in respect of all claims for personal injury or death to the Guest and/or his Invitees or loss or damage to property belonging to the Guest or his Invitees during the Guest’s stay at the Property.
6. Any swimming pool/wooden hot tub/jacuzzi situated on the Property, shall be used at the sole risk of the Guest and/or his Invitees who should ensure that children are supervised at all times.
7. The Owner reserve the right to cancel the booking at any time before or during the Rental Period should the Guest and/or his Invitees, in the Owner sole discretion, conduct themselves or treat the Property in an inappropriate manner including causing disturbance to neighbors.
8. The guest hereby undertakes to adhere to the unspoken rule that the town needs to be quiet after 22:00 at night.
9. Max 2 small well trained dogs, no smoking, rinse dishes before departure.
10. Strictly no parties allowed. Also stick to the 10PM quiet rule.
11. No smoking allowed inside the house (this includes vaping or hubby bubbly etc.)
12. Late check-ins or check-outs may incur an additional fee if not arranged in advance. During peak season, check-out times is strictly enforced to allow for cleaning before the next guests arrive.
13. Do not rearrange or move any furniture outside.
14. When leaving the house unattended, please ensure all windows are closed and doors are locked.
15. Only light fires in the designated areas. Be aware that Betty’s Bay is prone to wildfires. Never leave fires unattended, and avoid lighting fires during strong winds.
