Be Still Accommodation is a Holiday and Retreat Centre and is located in the heart of Swakopmund, Namibias prime holiday destination, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the dunes of the Namib Desert.
Be Still Holiday Accommodation is a place of silence, where holiday makers can enjoy a quiet, serene atmosphere. Pets or children under the age of 18 are not allowed.
We extend a warm welcome to people of all Christian denominations and to those not affiliated to any church. Our aim is to provide a safe space for people searching for what is important in their life. We offer non-judgemental spiritual guidance, always seeking to help those who come to us to find what is right for them.
Retreat Centre: Be Still is a place where people can grow spiritually through meditation and spiritual accomplice-mint. The owners of Be Still are Christian but the centre can be booked for retreats or special functions eg. marriages, conferences etc. and can be used by anyone. For special functions, the whole retreat should however be booked.
When no retreats are presented, Be Still is used for quiet, slow travel holiday makers, people recovering from burn-out or who needs silence in their life. This is the place for people who would like to be in quiet surroundings during their holiday but also within walking distances from the main beach and centre of town. Meditation and specific retreats are presented during the year and can be booked on the website.
Accommodation at Be Still Accommodation: The holiday accommodation exists of 10 luxury, bachelor, self-catering units and 2 one-bedroom, self-catering units.
Be Still has an indoor swimming pool, sauna and a meditation/music/yoga studio that could be used by appointment only in silence and in accordance to the rules of the centre and are not included in your price. You can book a massage or arrange for special trips organized by the owner at additional costs.
All our units are self-catering units - max 2 persons per unit. All units has a queen size bed, fully equipped kitchen, DSTV, study area, safe and alarm system. Some units has a small garden where you can have a barbeque. We have 2 x one bedroom apartments as well.
Activities:
Be-Still has a small indoor heated pool with sauna and massaging facilities. These facilities must be booked in advance and may be used at an additional costs.

- 60 days prior to arrival: 20% of the total rent, deductible from deposit. - 60 to 30 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total rent, deductible from deposit. - 30 days prior of arrival: 75% of the total rent, deductible from deposit. - 14 days prior of arrival: 100% of the total cost is reserved. - Please note that all refunds if granted will incur a N$300 handling charge if cancelled, for any reason whatsoever.
