Auberge La Dauphine is situated in the picturesque Franschhoek Valley, surrounded by majestic mountains, only 50 minutes drive from Cape Town and 2 minutes drive from Franschhoek village. Set in 4 hectares with its own vineyards, orchards and dam, it offers wonderful bed and breakfast accommodation in a sympathetically converted former wine store and 3 cottages.
Our spacious guest rooms and suites have both bath and shower en-suite, TV, air-conditioning/heating, and tea and coffee making facilities. The little patio areas in front of our rooms and suites have tables and chairs allowing guests to relax and take advantage of the lovely views. Our 3 cottages have both double and twin rooms with en-suite bath and shower, lounges, kitchens, airconditioning/heating and DSTV. Huge breakfasts are served in the sunny breakfast room or in the courtyard by the fountain. Laze in the garden by the swimming pool, have a game of tennis, enjoy a sundowner in the gazebo at the dam, say hello to our rescue donkeys and chickens in their paddocks, or take the dogs for a walk around the vines - the choice is yours. We can organise wine tours and tastings (on horse-back if you wish), trout fishing, walking and mountain biking. The village has an extensive range of shops, galleries and cafes. Numerous award-winning restaurants in and around Franschhoek give it the title of gourmet region of South Africa.
At Auberge La Dauphine we will make your visit to this beautiful valley one you will want to repeat.

The location was beautiful and the grounds were very nice. The breafast was good as well. For the price that we payed, the room itself was not very nice, although we did stay during the world cup period. They were renovating the rooms, which we did not know when we booked, so maybe they will be nice soon.
Wonderful friendly service with great recommendations for restaurants. Beautiful area and very comfortable accommodation!
Very nice accommodation with stunning view from our room. Very friendly people.
