Arniston Lodge - Covid response
We understand that the Coronavirus outbreak has been a cause for mass concern, particularly since the pandemic was escalated to the status of a global crisis. In response, we at Arniston Lodge has taken the decision in January 2021to temporarily close all new bookings until further notice. All current bookings will be honoured.
We have taken numerous precautions to ensure the hygiene and safety of our guests. This includes:
- All staff following stringent and relevant COVID-19 hygiene protocols
- Anti-bacterial soaps and alcohol-based sanitizers being placed in each unit
- Frequent cleaning of regularly touched surfaces and strong efforts being made to upkeep the high hygiene and safety standards
promised to our guests.
Feel free to contact us should you have further questions regarding our Lodge
protocols during this time.
Arniston Lodge is a double storey thatched roof house designed to blend with the traditional cottages of the charming fishing village, Kassiesbaai.
The Lodge is located just a few minutes walk-away from the Arniston beaches and provides sleeping facilities for 11 guests, hosting five bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.
Endless white sand beaches, a playground of unspoilt dunes, the huge tidal cave chiselled out of the sandstone cliffs and rustic thatched whitewashed cottages make the little seaside village of Arniston a restful holiday haven.
Our rooms either have a view of the sea, the fishing village and the sand dunes or are adjacent to our well looked after garden and pool area.
For your pleasure there is a swimming pool, a well-stocked honesty bar, a large open log fireplace and a protected barbeque area where you can cook locally caught Galjoen, Yellow Tail and various other line fish.
A full English breakfast is served every morning with a variety of cereals, yogurt, seasonal fruits and complementary bottled water daily. Evening meals can be enjoyed at the local restaurants or hotel.
