Aquila Game Reserve is named after the rare and endangered resident Black Eagles and boasts a breathtakingly beautiful 7500 hectare Karoo conservancy.
Proudly, for the first time in 250 years one can experience a Big-5, day trip safari under 2 hours from Cape Town, where visitors can enjoy a game drive experience among lions and other members of the Big 5 as well as an enormous variety and amount of safari wildlife.
The Reserve is set in the malaria free famous Fynbos, Succulent Karoo and extremely rare Renosterveld vegetation that was once the favorite hunting grounds of the ancient Khoi/San hunter-gatherers.
Aquila is more than just an unforgettable wildlife experience, it is an experience in luxurious African hospitality, traditional culinary delights, service excellence and the restoration of pride to the indigenous peoples and the land.
