Appelsbosch Guest House is a four-bedroom cottage sleeping up to 10 guests, with two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Indoor and outdoor braai facilities, a comfortable lounge and an unbeatable view of the mountains and the farm. Swellendam is approximately two hours’ drive from Cape Town on the N2. The town is unique as a tourist destination oﬀering historical sites such as the Drostdy Museum and The Bontebok National Park, in addition to the beautiful mountain views and walks, including the breathtaking 4 night Marloth Trail, as well as numerous other and varied tourist attractions.

The Guesthouse has 4 bedrooms that accommodate 11 people, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, automatic washing machine, indoor and outdoor braai and DSTV on request. All bedding and towels are supplied and a cleaning service can be arranged on request.

Appelsbosch Guest Farm Activities: Mountain Biking
Appelsbosch Guest Farm is nestled at the foot of the Langeberg mountain range, which is the perfect location for the mountain bike enthusiast. Choose an easy sightseeing, farm route or a more challenging mountain trail.
Just 30 minutes walk from your cottage door and you’ll find yourself in the most amazing indigenous forests. Amble up the road, through towering pine plantations or take a leisurely stroll on the farm and enjoy nature at its best.
What could be better than viewing the lush, mountainous, countryside on horseback. Horse riding can be arranged on your request.
Bring your Canoe or Kayak and row on the farm dam or for a more challenging adventure go rowing on Buffeljagsdam a 10 minute drive from the farm.
The farm dam is home to Blue Gills and Black Bass. Enjoy a fun day at the dam.
Have a picnic beside the dam, in the pine plantation or in the old Oak wood where you can still see the remnants of the original farm homestead.
